in india when i am school student my all teachers especially maths teachers used wires and small tamarind branches to hit us. I didnt remember how many times me and my friends hitted by our teachers for very minor causes.

it sucks that teachers are allowed to hit students like that.. when i was in grade school in the early 90's, our teachers will force us to eat our exam papers if we're not able to pass the exams.
