why are you in a garage? thats your problem. i have a honey bee2 and i picked the thing up for the first time and it only took me a few minutes to be able to sly it around. So i guess im really good at life
Learn the basics on a honeybee fixed pitch size heli. Lots easier, lot cheaper to fix, will and can fly in that space safely. I hit my walls fifty times before noticed a bent shaft which I straightened by hand without removal. I may have $10 in repairs before I moved to CP
Well, at least you werent at a field where you would have to do the walk of shame in front of everyone... LOL The best thing you can do if you really want to get into RC helicopters or airplanes is to get a simulator for your computer. You don't need to even pay for repairs or charge the battery!! Just PUSH A BUTTON!!! I recommend Real Flight G3.
Oops, sorry. I thought this was a Subzero video:) I will say it's good to practice in a limited airspace area like your garage. I fly in the backyard and have a 10X10 area. The more I fly the bigger that 10X10 feels. Keep it up!
LOL, looks very familiar. I have a tree in the back yard that has this uncanny ability to suck my HBK2 into its branches. I read your set up tips on Heliguy formums. 2 thumbs up. You should consider doing some for the Trex 450 since thats my next heli :)
It looks like the only thing you have to do is replace the blades, am I right? Isn't too hard of a fix. Getting that training gear seems like a highly recommended idea.
to anyone thinking of getting one of these read the instructions first and make sure the idle up switch is pointing away from you i didnt read instructions(typical man)and caused some quite nasty lacerations to my brother in laws arm
i try to get use to the stick before i make a lift off.. see how it drifts and which direction and how to coordinate with my orientation...
