this is totally a setup. A train with a lot of speed and momentum, and thousands of cars behind it will obliterate those cars. If a de-railer cant stop a fully loaded half mile long train travelling at 70mph, what makes you think a car will survive? Its just for show, not real.

I live in NYC and there used to be scads of trains along the various canals and you can still see old railroad sidings that go all around the old factory districts. (I remember where one siding was still used and a crewman would put down a flare because there was no crossing gate.)

So there is still one part of town where there is a railroad along the waterfront; a huge tractor trailer was stopped over the tracks (nothing happend; there was no wreck); it looked so tiny next to the locomotive.
