  • the left will rise again. it is just a matter of time before the people of Moscow have had enough with the corrupt crony capitalism

  • @RedAgent2020 ... there has never been such a thing as capitalism in working... neither has there been working communism as how it was intended, but there have been communist countries, never capitalist countries though... keep that in mind =)

  • "Hip! hip! hurray! for the US of A we are sending our men to Afghanistan..."

Do make one for the USA, it just works so well and they are worse than the soviets.

  • everyone's right, it's soo addicting lol! xD

  • Cant. Stop. Watching. This. Fuck.

  • I wonder if I were to send this to my history teacher, if he would show it in class. :D

  • @SouthParkFanv2 Mine did on the last day.

  • @SouthParkFanv2 Mine did on the last day.

  • @SouthParkFanv2 mine did ^^

  • This. Is. Amazing.

  • Why is this so addictive?

  • Amazing! Lenin would be proud!

  • Second guy looks like Steven Buscemi.

  • дааа, Россия рулит (не в обиду американцам), вообще рассовая ненависть это плохо

  • @SandWormify Я в порядке с ним

  • For eeever aaand a daaay.

  • Where did he get this idea!? Its so epic!

  • I'm so going to pass my History exam now...

  • I wish I could put gold on my bread.

  • @ElBarto3131 That would probably be terrible for your digestive system.

  • Why can't it be golve in hand

  • One of the best songs I have heard.

  • @xxWhyIsTheRumGonexx what's interesting is that Russia was our ally in WWII. We never would have bombed them.

  • @SomebodyAllie Funny because once Germany was like "imma attack Russia now" the Russians just really owned them, if they never would have attacked Russia the world would be such a different place.

  • @freakymrq And what about the Napoleonic war? They just charged headfirst, winter in sight, in a freezing place.Within months, most of them were frozen cadavers.

  • @ZorotheGallade Not particularly familiar with that war but I know that Germany was screwed once they decided to have a war on two fronts.

  • SOMEBODY GET THIS SONG OUT OF MY HEAD

  • @exemanful theres no way geting it out

  • @exemanful The Tsar's putting gold on his bread.

  • @exemanful *shoots examanful in the head* there you are

  • Just scrolling through my favorite vids from yester year and hit this vid. Painful memories. :/

  • Sorry, freakymrq, but Reagan literally forced the Soviet union to spend itself into bankruptcy. And prisoners of the soviet bloc gulags themselves have testified to how inspirational Reagan was to them, when word of his speeches got to them.

  • @ultrahumanite So why was I mentioned in your statement? I know that the cold war was between US and Russia which was a contest to see who could have the scariest amount and quality of weapons and we won because they had no money left to use. I never heard of any testimonies from prisoners of the gulags but I would have assumed they would have inspired since Reagan was promoting freedom.

  • The United States should have nuked the Soviet Union!

    Greetings from Estonia.

  • @xxWhyIsTheRumGonexx LoL, you really think the US should have nuked you?

  • @xxWhyIsTheRumGonexx I don't even know what to say when I come across stupidity of the kind you just posted. Just... wow.

  • @RedBannerOfThePeople Well, look at your personal thumbnail first and then think about who's the stupid here. Communist regime in Russia and USSR should have been wiped off the map just like nazis were destroyed in Germany.

  • @xxWhyIsTheRumGonexx please try to study a little before making such faults statements, really, they ruin your credibility.

You have to at last look like you know what you are talking about when you try to have an opinion.

  • @kinvaras147 Study what?

  • well, i heard yeltsin dead since 5 years ago

and yes thats true what he said

  • @leothedirilo The bastarts dead? Well that news brightened my day.

  • He is Irish.

  • Nice Russian accent. What was the metaphor for the fall of the USSR?

  • I caught on to everything historywise in this video except for when he says at 4.00 about the wall. What does that refer to?

  • @JorgeMorejonGarcia

In my opinion, he is referring to a "Wall" like a structure, like a government and general way of life. And "If front of my eyes it disappears" is referring to know matter what "he" does (The Russian people) the structure will fail. For one reason, or another. Like all politicians are liars, constant war, constant social insurrection, communism only works on paper. Things like that.

    That is my opinion.

  • @Kewlguy3333 yeah, close. But it was referring to the Berlin wall actually.

  • @JorgeMorejonGarcia The wall that divided socialism and capitalism and Raegan fought to tear it down. The Berlin wall.

  • @freakymrq Reagab did nothing but go to Berlin and make a speech, and JFKs Ich bin ein Berliner was more important. And the wall did not seperate socialism and capitaliam, it seperated US allies and USSR allies. West Germany, France, Denmark, Norway and Neitherlands, all NATO members, and all socialists. Communist Yugoslavia, officialy neutral, de facto ally of the US.

  • @dave19941000 Way to get specific lol, I know my statement was off but still he made the speech protesting the wall and wanted it to be torn down due to his belief in security and freedom working in unison. But the wall was built to keep out fascist ideas which they thought of all other systems which included capitalism and to make sure that people weren't corrupted by their ideas.

  • @JorgeMorejonGarcia Don't listen to these people saying the wall is symbolic. When you play Tetris the rows disappear as you fill them up. So the Tetris wall he is building is disappearing.

  • @Haksorz

Ya, thats symbolism. They're using the game as an allegory for the fall of the Soviet Union.

  • I am the man who favorites the video thats up above.

  • @V45844

Thumbs for not asking for thumbs.

    Thumbs for clever comment.

    Thumbs for being awesome.

    Thumbs, bro. Thumbs.

  • wait, wheres boris yeltsin, the first president of russia, and all of the other dictators?

  • @leothedirilo There is no Boris Yeltsin because it ends with the Soviet Union. About the other dictators, I have no clue.

  • Tool, Schism, anybody?

  • long live putin!

  • @matthewrobinsonsz Why would anyone want something good to happen to that fascist bastard?

  • @adeliethepenguin: pt2, Primal instinct actually has very little to do with what causes marxist economics to fail, in fact to him it was the self interest of the proles not some altruistic understanding of human dignity or enlightened revolutionary insight that would drive historical progress forward. Humans don't need to change, the system simply doesn't work for underlying structural reasons. Remember if marxism doesn't better service worker wants, it has lost its core justification.

  • @adeliethepenguin: Actually it is infeasible because marxist economies ultimately lack a true feedback mechanism (competitive pricing) which indicates consumer preference. As a result producers operate on less information and either over or under produce goods and services resulting in shortage or waste. On a small scale producers can directly obtain market information through personal interaction, but this generally breaks down when the system is scaled up as production becomes anonymous.

  • This is nowhere near the _complete_ history of SU, but it is still epic.

  • modern russia's state capitalism has more in common with fascist Italy and Nazi Germany than it does any left-wing ideologies

  • @HaremKnight that may be true, but it is still a planned and controled economy

  • thumbs up if you're a man who arranges the blocks!

  • @theliberator1

I am the man from Kazakhstan who sends his stuff in two weeks late.

It has always angered my teachers/Stalin's regime.

  • I can't stop watching this video, I have to learn the lyrics.

  • Communism is the way to go... but we humans are so greedy that it'll never be true communism. Or we're so stupid that we think anything remotely socialist is bad.

  • True Communism aka. Marxism is impossible for a full-scale country. It assumes humans can make rational decisions and over come primal instincts such as greed. Liberal Democratic Socialism, or Libertarian Green Socialism is more realistic IMO. Also when people claim Socialism is "bad", they are making the mistake of thinking Socialism = Totalitarianism/Authoritarianism = Communism. Completely inaccurate.

  • @adeliethepenguin I am a total social democrat. I think the government needs to be more in control of everything. I'm just so sad that many Americans think Socialism=Communism and so they don't get free health care.

  • @AllCanadiaReject I don't believe in complete government control because I don't agree with Wic for anyone who doesn't want to work, and I know the kind of people who use WIC because I work at a grocery store. Because they decide to have four kids before their over 30 and they act like I should be giving them money just for showing up, or complaining when they can only get three loaves of bread instead of four. I understand the people who actually need it but there's too many who really don't.

  • If SOPA gets their way, I can't perform this for my school talent show

  • Getting kind of a Klaus Nomi vibe from the first singer.

  • Those who do not miss the soviet union have no heart, those that want it back have no brain.

  • @oblivinium Well if your Russian that is, but thats a pretty cool comment.

  • Soviet Union.. bahh.. long dead. And good riddance.

  • Палец вверх если ты русский

  • Simply brilliant!

  • In Soviet Russia video dislike YOU!!!

  • Can someone explain the phase immediately before and during gorbachov?

  • @Gustavogukpa In no way was I talking about historical context.

  • @Bleumange

because of opportunism and lack of real communists in the communist party, the country fell into an economic ruin. The people had to stand in queues to get bread

So traitor Gorbachov has opened the market and basically destroyed socialism in ussr.

  • can't wait to do this for a-level

  • I sung this accidently in a chemistry class; the teacher was russian and gave me a REALLY wierd look....

  • HEIL CCCP!!!

  • Long live the USSR!

  • cause' you, like me, want to know this off by heart

  • y cant i stop watching this?

  • The perfect study tool for history :D

  • Odd. It's a Tetris parody yet a well-informed history lesson... well, kudos.

  • GLORY TO THE SOVIET UNION!

  • @SlavicFront88 HELL YEAH

  • @SlavicFront88 Can't say I blame :P

  • @SlavicFront88

Whoever does not miss the Soviet Union has no heart.

Whoever wants it back has no brain.

    -Vladimir Putin

  • @SlavicFront88 URA! URA! URA!

  • @SlavicFront88 Russia 4 the win

  • I think i'm all set for my history test tomorrow

  • @liffarious I'm predicting an A*

  • @CrackaPackify yes karl marx made the idea communism, but it was lenin that made the Soviet Union. Now if lenin was never born karl marx idea would had never killed 150 million people in the 20 century, marx idea would be in a funny book, kind of like animal farm

  • @reddog2007max Lenin is not solely responsible for the revolution. There would be a revolution even without Marx's ideology the previous situation was not maintanable (just like the french revolution)

  • @michaelfivez can't agree with you, it was possible to avoid revolution

  • @michaelfivez That is very true, if only the Feburary Revolution was not overturned by the October revolution. And like the French revolution democracy and liberty were thwarted by the ambitious and militant.

  • @TheHmmster I disagree, 10 million russian soldiers didnt died for that asshole stalin or for the Soviet Union, they died because they love their motherland Russia, they would had still beat the nazis without being S.U plus U.S and Russia would be actually close allies in ww2, but my point is if S.U never happen then nazi germany would had never existed. I like russia but hate S.U

  • @fuck1929 There is no doubt that treaty made it easy for the nazis to gain power because the german economy was shit, but hitler would had never gain power without the help of big companies, they and hitler had a common enemy that was communism. Big companies thought they could control hitler after he gain total power, but hitler after he gain power betray them and nationalize businesses in Germany

  • Teheehee look who's building a base on the moon. (Russia)

  • hip hip hoorah, for the U.S.S.R.

  • R.I.P Soviet Union and good riddance to the most evil empire the world has ever seen and yes im saying the S.U is more eviler than nazi Germany, there is no doubt in my mind that this world would be a much better place if S.U never existed. If there was no S.U I believe the nazis would had never taken power in Germany. Hitler would be nothing but a loud mouth racist. Big companies in germany were afraid of communism so they help build hitler

  • @reddog2007max Ever heard of the Treaty of Versailles?

  • @reddog2007max Hitler got power in Germany through promising th epeople a way out of the depression caused by WW1, the only different thing that would've happened if the soviet union didn't exist is that nazi germany would've taken over Europe without the U.S caring, and then, later, total world domination.

  • @TheHmmster Hitler sent half of his army to Russia in order to take Moscow. Stalin ordered all the people from all the cities in their way to abandon their houses an d destroy everything. As the nazi army advanced, they found nothing, not a soul, not civilian, not military and none supply or shelter. The most severe days of winter came, they all died without any food or place to hide from the cold.

  • @kinvaras147 That was Napoleon, and 150 years before WW2...

  • @TheHmmster As well.

  • @kinvaras147 ...So you're juding the soviet union based on the doings of the RUSSIAN TSAR?

  • @TheHmmster me? no. I just said they didn't kill a single nazi soldier in their territory, they all died "naturally"

  • @kinvaras147 they killed a loooooooooooot nazis in their territory and in addition to that many died because of the winter.

  • @OerbaDiaBarthandelus Not really. USSR had all their troops in retreat, protecting Moscow. They just advanced to the nazi-controlled territory after this epic fail from hitler's army.

  • @TheHmmster no people are idiots and repeat waterlou

  • @reddog2007max You'd probably be better asking that Karl Marx had never been born so ...

  • This + Minecraft = profit

  • whats the point of it all when your building a wall and there is no Love button

  • ....beautiful

  • I swear I know the guy at the end.....

  • I am both intrigued and slightly alarmed...

  • I can't stop watching the british guy at the end o_o

  • make more

  • sound like a tv commercial

  • In soviet russia, blocks places you!

  • @Shiga95 No that's in the USA.

  • The beggining should go like:To Moscow i came seeking fortune and fame.........

  • This.... this was some pretty good shit. It shows the tragic end of the Soviet Union. A vision so great, started by a man with a beard and syphilis called Lenin, but got crushed by Stalin and eroded by Breznev and finally disolved by Gorbachev. I like the message in the end that a new communist Russia must rise. I will look forward to that, but please, this time don't get an invalid, Georgian man with a moustache as leader.

  • @puckettgw The capitalist manehatten, those oats belong to the people.

  • @puckettgw Animal Farm all over again

  • @Underyourstaircase Stalliongrad? NEEEEIGHHHH. ALL OF THE OATS MUST BE CONTRIBUTED TO THE STATE!

  • Who else has played this song while playing Tetris?

  • That's sad to see all this american idiots who think they won WWII :<

  • tetris

    THE MOVIE

  • Hell, the russians won the second world war.

Whatever the americans might like to think, the main reason they joined the war in europe was because they didnt want russia to steamroll all of europe and make an even bigger communist state.

  • @HmongZboy

    Yes, they did.

  • i'd love to be on whatever yoou were on

  • did russia really fought the german, sorry been play call of duty world at war

  • @HmongZboy Yes!!!! The russians fought some of the biggest fights in the war. I think they came in in 1942 WWII was 1939-1945 the US came into europe in 1943 ( best references from prior knowledge) If you want more, look up stalingrad and kursk

  • @bigbullet97 and were the people in the game real or fake ???

  • @bigbullet97 Yes, Russia did a big thing when they won back Stallion Grad, which killed a lot of Germany's manpower. But America pretty much destroyed the Axis's primary naval power at Midway and exported supplies to Russia so they could have a upper hand. Russia and America were the countries that had the biggest of impacts in the war. Without either of their involvement, the world would have been a much different place. Both had equally important impact on the war.

  • @Underyourstaircase No they didn't. The USA helped Britain a lot, but Russia lost 27,000,000 people. And it's Stalingrad.

  • @canuckleful Russia lost 27,000,000 people because their military philosophy was, "They'll run out of bullets eventually."

  • @IMNOTCRAZY1 You're right.

  • @Underyourstaircase ˝Lol˝ at stallion grad......

  • @Underyourstaircase America did nothing, but ruin Europe. The ruined my country, my grandfather was a pilot, he died from eye cancer, because of an injury. Fuck Allies.

  • @szakiricky war is war dont blaim the soldiers they were following orders blaim the ones that issued those orders

  • @shadowblast4 Pretty sure the excuse of "We were only following orders" hasn't been considered valid for around 67 years.

  • @shadowblast4 Can't we blame both?

  • @shadowblast4 Blame the soldiers. If someone gives you the means to kill someone aka a gun, then you have power. You can then resist their orders.

  • @shadowblast4 in time of Civil war?

  • @Underyourstaircase I am sorry to say this however The percentage of foreign supplies the russians recieved from america is 14%... Britain and France contributed more and they ended up in a worse state and even then it was very little considering one of the biggest contributers was mongolia. The majority of russian supplies was manufactured in russia and they won without american aid. However indirectly america still helped britain stopping the germans from getting more oil

  • Fully enter this into the Eurovision song contest, would be brilliant.

  • what was he on.....

  • is there anywhere i can find lyrics to this???

  • @NebuchandnezzarCD u can just look up russian revolution tetris song and it will pop up as the first or second link- the band is called A pig with a boys face btw. :D

  • this is fucking awesome

  • Sometimes I wish there was a 'love' button too...

  • I couldn't stop laughing at 4:20

This is best video I've ever seen..

  • It's funny because Tetris was actually created in the USSR by Alexey Pajitnov

  • @Whirrednerd everyone knows that.

  • What's that? Replay button.

  • some how i whant to play tetrist

  • @konnii1 i know the feeling-so i decided to act on it and am listening to this song...while playing tetrisXD
