  • Words of wisdom from Mr. Paul!

  • its actually worse in the south, the hispanic people -both legal and illegal- have been brainwashed into believing texas and california are theirs. mexican radio stations are proclaiming that texas is a part of mexico. only ron paul gives a shit about the border. all other candidates plan to open it up even more, and continue foreign wars that inspire more hatred and terrorism.

  • Sorry I mean 'our majority of vote will be a final say so as issues come'

  • I keep noticing some will make comments as such matters as R.P. is going to rewrite the law against our will. Americans will have no choice, the world will end, people will die, the sun will drop out of the sky. We are still a governed land by the People. His personal beliefs are his and doesnt have to be by majority of vote as the issues come.

  • Let us not forget that We the people are in charge. That is one of the main reasons why RP needs to be in office - even if you dont agree on some of the issues, he would be going through Congress which involves us knowing and expressing what we as a society wants. He would carry it out. And watch the money and our Civil freedom.

  • Have you ever lived in the south?

What exactly does 'being American' mean?

    Over consuming?

    Overeating?

    Stealing the land of others?

    Invading other nations?

    Exploiting cheap labor?

Vegitating in front of the TV?

Buying as much crap as possible?

  • colbert gravel kucinich paul nader [conyers?] united for truth elicit fear smear blacklist.

    honesty compassion intelligence guts...

  • Continued

And doesnt really support and other spec. groups that are not putting at least 1/2 what it collects, No more welfare by fraud. I'm done having my money be spread out between officials first and not the people its to go to. And that is Keeping us down. It doesnt care about you like your State would and the People who pay State tax and so on.

  • I agree that social safety nets are best overseen as local as possible.

I agree that most of the money slated to help people is eaten up by the system.

I don't believe state official care anymore, or any more honest that federal. The more power, the more corruption.

  • States are controlled within by cities which are operated by average people who take an interest in what happens in there own city than by County, than by State. And the monies collected by a State (tax) would stay as well as not having to pay Federal and the monies your state would have given (Fed) can go towards something people in your state needs

  • In regards > Stealing, Invading, Exploiting. I stop buying from the very province of China as you earlier had brought up not because of less requirements on Chinas behalf (buyer beware) but a issue of dedication to invest back into my Country. I'm losing. I cant even find a supplier for one of my two business in United States. I stopped Exploiting, yet I am not sure to trust Americans to buy from me instead of Walmart.

  • Its hard to weigh out the individual (my fellow American/Country) against money. And my associates think my ideas of restraint are going to be a failure because of People in general not being WILLING to invest in each other, or their Country. Please get the Gov't out of my pocket so I dont have to make Bad decisions.

  • I know these decisions hurt our Nation by being a cheap scape -tax sheltering, is a great example and nothin you can do about it, but be disgruntled towards big Corps closing here and going elsewhere. I'm nowhere close to that type of money but see how easy it is to make a bigger profit if you just try not to care. So how do we change that?

  • As I said before, I want the gov't out of the business of small business like you.

  • Good point. I have been trying to avoid products from China for a decade.

Big corps who don't give a rat's ass about the country or the safety of people are running the show.

We have lost our vote as consumers b/c we have so few choices and many cannot afford anything but WallMart.

This is why I believe we need the gov't involved.

  • Gmfugravlsprtr- If thats all your going to base your voting on (starving error) and not the issues and answers people want. Than please...your sounding like a dork. We as people in our own state will place our monies to take care of ourselves locally by state. Mr. Paul will say No Amnesty No rewarding of Illegal anything, No CIA (no info sharing with Congress(us) than no need for to have it)Our rights back to bear arms, No more Minority support nationwide while it eats the monies

  • If states took over consumer safety, they would each have to pay for it.

Poor states would have none. Poor people could not afford to live in states that did.

    ----

States take over workplace safety and jobs move to states without it.

As for the 'error' about starvation - Paul is not that stupid, it is a LIE.

The question is WHY would he tell that lie?

  • Hope all you Paul fans don't mind lead in toys, or ones that contain date rape drugs.

THAT is the "free market" for you.

  • The Market gets previous warnings of such things but tend not to spend the money to check into it if possibly not necessary. It took Australia to have a fit first and suddenly the Media reported about two known cases involved here in the US.

So where was Gov't ? Do you really think we would not be able to concentrate on that as a smaller Gov't. Didnt you already know about the dangers of buying things not made in the USA?

  • I would like to add, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but we could stop trade with China but we HAVE to stick with them because of what we owe them for this "war". Point is... If we minded our own business, we woulnd't be in this war, we wouldn't owe China so much money, and now they've got us by the short and curlys!

  • that province of China is questionable. Remember 300 companies were closed in that city following the comas. Yet we as a nation still need to take action but we fall short of money and man power. It lags. Do we become dependent?

  • I do agree we need a much smaller, less intrusive gov't.

With the $ wasted on the WOD alone, we could boost product safety enormously.

I no longer buy toys, but try finding ones made in the US.

  • I dont want to give anymore of our boys and girls as target practice. And as our National Guard is over seas as well- leaving our front door open, lets keep supporting the slaughter because it keeps us magically safe. Is anyone awake?

  • Thanks!

  • I just donated.

  • Dr. Paul just passed the 3 million dollar mark! Three million dollars raised so far today! Let's take him past 4 million!

  • obviously people did starve to death during those centuries, as well as in this one - he made a mistake there for sure. And since he is well aware of history, I am sure he both knows this, and, did not manage to say exactly what he meant. Perhaps a clarifying statement from him would be helpful.

  • I think a clarifying statement is indeed called for, but I doubt you will get one.

Paul has said things of this nature before.

  • You just tried to Compare his 20:30 Google, when the subject starts at 18:43. Your spreading half ass falsel DIRECTED warped information -This shows your lack of creditability. Dont forget Ron Paul stood up for Google and other search engines fighting the restrictions of what we Americans can have access to. These Corp. do not belong to us the people and they can block and censorship if they want Google supports RON PAUL!

  • Start it at any time you want, it doesn't change his claim of no one starving in the 19th century.

If that kind of economy is OK with you, vote for Paul

  • How about compare his solutions addressing the problems we have? And how we do try to enforce laws State by State using the government which takes money and gives little to the situation that would be at hand. Take FEMA as example.

  • I agree that FEMA is a mess & I should know since I live in coastal MS.

I also know that FEMA did much better before it was part of HS.

  • Well keep with your own demonstrations, most Ron Paul supporters are Inspired not Hired and watch PBS -American debates Iowa debates and so on- He makes his solutions very clear and we know who we are voting for Watch our next money bomb? Most people know to do their research online and not Fox (owner- 128 stations, a production Co. and much more)

  • RU so paranoid that you think anyone who doesn't support Paul is a paid schill of FOX?

I do watch PBS. I do read. I watch FOX for amusement.

None of that has anything to do with Paul's words.

Now why don't you read a bit of economic history and then explain how you can trust anything Paul says after he tells such an outrageous lie?

  • Are you f*cking retarded, I know they paid you to say that ou should be ashamed.

  • Paid me to say what?

All I am doing is telling people to go to the video and hear what Dr. Paul actually said.

Is truth that repellant to Paul supporters?

Hell, maybe you support 19th cent robber barron economics.

I believe that many Paul supporters are not aware of his statements, and should be.

    That makes me fucking retarded?

  • Ya you are fucking dumb as fuck.

  • LOL

Paul has way TOO many supporters like you.

  • gmfutube, I'll take your word for it. but in retrospect all politicians have their verbal slip ups. some more so than others. bush jr has taken 'slip ups's' to a whole new level and isn't even comparable to what we've seen of RP or others.

  • Google w/ Ron was great, Google supports Ron- dont forget that since all these search engines are Corp. that do not belong to people like you and me, they can have a say so on what the information will be for the public. Just like ou Gov't had tried when wanting to put restriction on what we can access

  • People back then did ALOT of sharing of there things with others and Strangers. If they had food many have been reported of sharing. Even my Grandfather was given a car after his broke down in Fl. to return back to CA. Being told to please drop car off at a mooselodge and they did not know each other. You make it sound like you dont trust your State to be able to take care of ...you? Thats questionable.

  • Yes, a lot of people helped each other. My family had 3 generations living together to get by.

My GG Mother had to scrub floors after she lost her home and savings - Thanks to employer's "right" not to hire women.

No, I don't trust my state - about anything. Nor should I have to.

btw - who do you suggest should monitor product safety? Individual citizens? Or is lead and GHB in toys just part of the "free market"?

  • Donate to Ron Paul TODAY, November 5th, 2007. Donate $100 for freedom, peace, and prosperity in the manner that the founding fathers of our country intended. God bless ;) ;)

  • This is a great interview. Wow. Any time Ron Paul is allowed to speak without interruption is a great interview!

  • Small government is all good, but I think to base all the policies solely on one document (which was written long ago BTW) without taking into account current challenges for the human race (global warming, overpopulation and profileration of nuclear weapons among others), is to fall in fundamentalism.

  • He's so right about foreign policy, protection of freedoms, respect of the constitution. Not so much in his social policies though. Eliminate the department of education and medicare? he should clarify his position regarding these issues, because he's losing ground there.

  • I sent $250 to Ron Paul today from my old Party Poker account. Hell, I had almost forgot about having cash in there.

  • i put my 100 bucks in from my student budget. i love this country (and i wasnt even born here)

  • we're already over a million! And the left coast hasn't even woke up yet! :)

When I went to bed last night at 11pm EST the kitty was at 2.7 million, so I think the time stamp is a little off, he's now over 4 mil for the quarter! WHAHOOOO
