John Deacon unterrated... All people speaks about Mercury, May, Taylor.... F...O.. Deacon is an importan part of Queen: Another one bites the dust. More bass Mr. Deacon. I LOVE YOUUUU
I'm not too convinced regarding the authenticity of this clip. Mostly I hear Roger Taylor's high-pitched voice. I also hear Freddie Mercury's voice. Apart from that, it's hard to distinguish any clear vocal part, except for a word here and there.
he never sang on the albums (at least not credited) but just backed up with harmonies live.... his voice is fine for that purpose. it is meant to blend.
he sings good when he knows he is singning anyways i respect him he wrote onother one bites the dust, your my best friend, spread your wings and help write friends will be friends
I wasn't sure if it was really John singing or if it was even Queen but after watching it a few times, I could hear Freddie faintly and towards the end you can hear Roger. I think it's really John :p
Honestly it sounds to me like a cover band or something.
Im not saying it's definitly not him- but I know for a fact that Freddie was a perfectionist and his microphone was always so loud that it could blow your ear off (as said by brian and roger). I just don't understand how you can't even hear a hint of Freddie, Brian, or Roger's voice. It doesn't sound very "Queen"
Reminds me a little of how Mike Oldfield was initially reluctant to sing on his records (either others did or he sung through a vocoder), although he eventually warmed to the idea by 1982...
As for Queen and other vocals, Brian sang on a few of their more laid back songs whereas Roger could put on an incredible falsetto one minute, then have a voice similar to Rod Stewart's the next....
if he worked on it a little it could be really good. and i'm definitely not saying that this is bad, cause it's not! think of ringo starr, he is said to have a terrible voice, but just because he hasn't had training doesn't mean he can't sing!
@Scaramouchemusic Ringo actually has a good voice, or else we would of done terrible solo. If you hear songs like "Boys", "I Wanna Be Your Man", and "If You've Got Trouble", he actually has a pretty good voice.
@vitamincity Ah well, at least he tried his hardest, and that's what matters. :P Plus, who could ignore his fantastic bass playing, too? Deacy, get back with Brian and Roger, please!

He sounds okay. Not a lead singer voice but there's no reason to hide it.

He is a better singer than me (and some pop artists but I'm not going to rant)

he said that he could never make a solo album as he couldn't sing.
And yet here he is singing perfectly well...i think he was just lacking confidence. It's such a shame.

Just because somebody chooses to act his age and not to be in the public eye anymore, does not mean they're dead.
