  • Thank you America!!!

    +a Chinese

  • There is an interview with an Japanese American soldier who was interogating a Japanese prisoner and the Japanese prisoner pushed a matchbox towards him and said they were building an Atomic Bomb. Several days later, the US dropped the bomb, the Japanese American soldier went to find him and tell him, the POW said, then the War is over now! He already knew the destructive capability, which very few did at that time! So I believe from this story that Japan had an Atomic Bomb!

  • The bit about the cyclotron destruction is true however; it was part of the (tiny) weapons project but it was used for non-atomic research by a separate team who used it's development as a pretext to avoid being drafted by the military. This is well documented.

  • This is absolute rubbish spread by conspiracy theorists. There was no bomb, no detonation. You couldn't hide something like that. If there had been a bomb, the radiation would have been detected. At the very least, the Japanese would have used it's existence to justify demands for terms more favorable than those demanded by Potsdam. Put in context, the British atomic weapons program of the 50s was also a failure and it was well funded. Even they couldn't make it work.

  • U tube( Hitler's last u-boat) video of the German sub carrying uranium when it surrendered to allies. Also excellent

  • the russians have the documents

  • In a word....FASCINATING

  • if this is true, there would still be elevated radiation on the test island. I don't doubt the Japs had a N weapons program. I'll buy it up to the successful bomb test

  • @jimkinner 'Japs'?...Watch ur mouth u filthy american swine....

  • A functional Japanese Atomic bomb is a nice interesting fairy tale but seriously, what a load of shit. This a well made flick but its about as credible as Nazi UFOs on the Moon. Imagine that all that survived an atomic bomb program is a notebook and some anecdotal tales...give me a break.

  • @1138thz I doubt that Japan actually tested an atomic bomb, but everything else is plausible, even just from a common sense stand point. If it's confirmed that both the US and Germany knew about atomic power and were frantically building one, why is it impossible that Japan was as well? Let's not forget that Japan was one of the most advanced countries in the world at the time, technologically and militarily.

  • @PrUnEJuIcEtHeThIrD

Sure Japan had the know how to make relatively simple U-235 gun type weapon like our Little Boy and they did have a small project to do just that. However they like Germany just didn't have the resources to make it happen. Remember the SCALE of the Manhattan Project. However Japan came in as a distant third behind The Allied and Nazi efforts along that line. Then of course there is the fact that Japan never had a plane as big or capable as the B-29 to drop the things with.

  • Great video I had no idea about this till I saw this thanks.. Does anyone know if there r any movies about the atomic bomb not movies like this on like real movies like the movie pearl harbor I would really like to see one my ma said there was one I just don't know what it's callled!! You would be a big help if u knew one

  • this was a great show... i had to subscribe!!!

  • Rather less than convincing; no mention of a detonation system for example; there's more to an atom bomb than a load of Uranium! Plutonium? No mention of that either.

So where did the Navy get its material from?

How was it that nothing was picked up from the navy codes? These had been broken; wouldn't there have been some enquiry as to what a load of ships were doing in the vicinity of N. Korea?

  • Thanks for this interesting video. What I don't like is that the audio translation is barely understandable, because of native translators whom can barely speak English. It would be better to both use both native translators with English subtitles for the Japanese speakers, and only subtitles with the English speakers. THE LESSON FOR TODAY IS NOT TO UNDERESTIMATE ANYBODY should been sound advice for GWB.

  • U.S was underestimated North Vietnam. Thanks for the video.

  • The end is true. We Germans underestimated the Americans. Everyone knew that there was a lot of them, for they weren't even portrayed as fat slobs back then. However, they were still portrayed as dumb hicks who only knew how to inbreed. That's what I've been told the consensous was since primary school.

  • I don't buy the last bit about the test. Too unlikely that it wouldn't have been noticed.

Japan was completely surrounded by the U.S. submarine blockade. The straights between Korea and Japan in particular would have been filled with U.S. subs. Something would have been noticed and leaked about the test from more than just some mysterious intelligence officer by now.

  • First time I heard about Japan's A-bomb was in 1964 when my grandfather, an Army engineer officer who helped to build a giant Nakajima Musashino-Tama aircraft factory, which was B-29's #1 target back then. He used the term "Tokubetsu Bakudan" (Special Bomb)I was just a kid back then so I didn't pay much attention. But asked again in 1982 when I was in USAF. He said that in 1943, Tojo ordered him and others to build an underground factory in Fussa large enough to build a 6-engine special bomber.

  • The last guy ( the chemical enginerring guy ) sounds like he is just trying memorize the lines he had been given to lol

  • Well yeh

  • how come there was no photo of this supposed japanease bomb explosion?

  • Because like they said all of the evidance and documents was burned by the japanese at their building site in korea.

  • thanks for upload I've been looking for a copy of this.
