Bravo on the ORION. You know , the one I'm building just shoots the LEDs through one side of the glass, the other side has a mirror so its all internally reflected, I thought you should know since you have a lot of LEDs running under that thing. For the diffuser, you said you had one side frosted, where would you get that done, I was just going to use drafting paper, but that seems like a much better idea
Thanks, using the mirror is an innovative idea =) I mad this table a while ago and since then I've made all sorts of multitouch setups. The DI approach is a good starting point for a lot of people and I'd recommend the setup to anyone... The glass was purchased already sandblasted on one side from a glass manufacturer, (approx AUD$50) but if you already have the glass, then you might want to check out PurlFrost or even glass etching liquid. It might work out cheaper...
Not my idea, got it off other people, but thanks =). I actually just got into this idea but I think its great, Question: do you think if you crissed crossed LEDs, it would confuse the Web Cam, I don't think so, but its possible, and if not then you might want to run the pair of LED/mirror on each opposing side, I saw a strip on Google shopping.
P.S. - If you find me annoying just say so, I'm often percieved as annoying when looking into new areas.
This is a nice video, the GUI you have here, did you write it or is it online, plus what materials did you use, some people like acrylic, but I've heard that glass can be just as good. what do you think
hey really nice table you got there! im building one my own and some of my biggest problems is to find some sort of "OS" to the table and yourapploader is just what i need. thanks very much you just saved me with your brilliant sofware(i cant code myself so it was quite a problem)
