  • I think its more about Americans being fat lazy pigs than the cost of healthy food.

Remember that to eat healthy requires you to take time and effort to prepare the food and most Americans cant be botherd

  • actually its about how all the food prepared by producers and manufacturers of food contaminate the food and are concerned with production rather than quality...which effects the body more than obesity

  • @Obobbyss; That's only partially true. When people go to work at 6 a.m. after being up with a kid half the night and then hit the daycare, then 10 hours at work, back to day-care, get home at 7:30 at night and then do homework with the older kids until 9:00, do laundry, clean up the house, read to the kids before bed and do this all on $10/hour! You are simply wrong to make it sound so easy and cheap. I can buy an entire meal for the family for around 8 dollars but ONE apple costs $1

  • @ToolFan68 Well thats leads us to problem number 2. People having kids they cant afford to feed properly or spend the right amount of time with. Somebody with a 10 dollar an hour job has no business having kids to begin with. Everyone is so selfish about how wonderful it would be to have kids but they are too self absorbed to ever consider should they have them to begin with. Dont blame the food corporations for unwise family planning.

  • I really want to see this movie but it's no longer running in southern california. Does anyone have a link to the full movie? Please msg me if you do, I would really appreciate it.

  • This movie is a must see. Just watched it last night.

  • If anybody has a link to the full movie online that would be great thanks.

Please give me the link by pressing the reply button or sending me a message.

Again it would be really great and thank you as well.

  • I need a link too...some 1 hook me up...I live in Chicago and this movie isn't playing in theatres here...if some 1 has a link please hook it up...thanks...

  • I don't think it played anywhere really, I'm sure they keep it under wraps, forbid anyone knowing the truth. I wonder how many would actually go to see it anyway? A very small percentage. Many of these investigative/documentary type movies, get 10-20,000 hits. Check out the trailers for horror movies, 1-2 million +.

  • I'm in Canada, did not see it here. Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver yes, Windsor, NO. People in this city swarm to the mainstream crap. Even recently our International Film Festival is showing films with recognizeable hollywood celebs to get the audience.

  • I'm aware of what people are into.

It played Royal Oak, Michigan in July. That's about half an hour from Windsor.

    :)

  • It's playing here:

Doc Films - Max Palevsky Cinema

    1212 East 59th Street, Chicago, IL - (773) 702-8575

    Everyday, 7 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm .

At the time of your post, (1 month ago), the film had already gone through it's theatre run. It was playing everywhere, for months.

  • Cool thankz, I found out a week or 2 ago it'll be out on DVD in Nov, I already reserved it on netflix, thanks 4 the info though..

  • I'm still looking, but I know if you donate $150 or more to KQED radio channel 94.1 FM, you will receive a copy of the original DVD as a gift.

  • ya and if u dont have 150 bucks to donate u can buy the film for about 20 bucks or so :)

  • My bad, it's KPFA not KQED. Sorry!

  • I think every fast food place and grocery store should have to advertise what specific factories their meat comes from, so that the consumer can make the decision to buy that food or not! It's about more than meat, but this would be an important start to put unethical businesses OUT of business! I gave up red meat and chicken. I eat farm fresh eggs and buy more and more organic foods. This is the best way to protect my body and I also feel better for not contributing to the death of an animal.

  • Just eat organic and/or buy locally and/or grow your own. And no, organic isnt that much more exspensive. What it means is you cant have that 4th twinkie, or big mac meal, or 7th pair of designer jeans. Just takes a change of lifestyle, and a little practice. Get positive and you can achieve anything!

  • Because meat factories will not advertise themselves as sucking. That should be obvious! What's needed is consumer advocacy, not corporate advertising.

  • of course they won't but plenty of other groups will do it for them...they're doing it now.

  • I wish this was playing in my area!! But man, when I get the chance to see it, I'm there!

  • This film isn't showing in my area. i pray that I'll be able to purchase it somehow. This is a MUST see.

  • might come on movie central, a lot of movies play there
