@momo2317 The minelab bag came with the Minelab Sovereign which I purchased from Kellyco. They includethe same bag when you purchase a Excalibur, so I ended up with two of them.
@DMIMAGE I hip mount the control head, and this removes most of the weight from shaft - which makes swinging the detector much easier for longer periods of time.
@TheDanteOxalis The minelab sovereign coil is waterproof, but the control head is not. So not recommended for water hunter. The minelab excalibur is waterproof down to 150 feet. And the Whites BeachHunter 300 ID is also waterproof.
@solinvictus39 I pick them up and take them off the beach. That way you're cleaning the beach, and won't be digging the same bottle caps next time you detect that beach.
@marfee3 I usually spend about two hours a day on the beach metal detecting, and almost always come home with some interesting treasures. I've found many rings, watches, plenty of costume jewelry, thousands of coins, and other interesting things like cell phones, ipods, cameras . . .
I Have friends who used the GT....very deep detector indeed....RTG scoops are well made and so are Sunspot which I use along with DP PI in the water here in CT. Like waggman71 said, Looking forward to some more longer videos. HH
Can you please tell me what beach long handle scoop you are using and do you like it? Is it a good water scoop as well? Look nice and lightweight and saves the back and knees! Thanks! and HH.
Where did you get that bag?

Is the Minelab Sovereign GT submersible? If so, how deep?

When you find junk like bottletops, etc. do you pick it up to throw it away or do you put it back in the sand?

@talietime That scoop is a RTG PRO ALUMINUM MINI TRAVEL SAND WATER SCOOP , found on eBay.
I have two of them, and have been using them for years in the sand and salt water without a problem. They are great for beach hunting!
