I've become more and more convinced that there are people using cheats at the pokestar to make money; I've noticed this because all the hands I've lost was one of those things that happens only once in a million however they keep hitting the nice cards and play. I've searched the net and found that you can buy cheat software so I am convinced that pokestar has a large criminal team working behind the scenes... Save your money, don't buy into this.

1. A set versus a straight or flush is not that big an underdog. Any card that pairs the board beats you, but just the fourth 8.
2. Poker Stars didn't take your $20, just the $2 fee.
3. If you still think it's rigged you shouldn't be playing $20 sngs. Play lower stakes, or don't play at all.

Dunno if that was a cheat or just luck, but fact is - cheating in pokerstars (or any other online game apart from a live-dealer one) is entirely possible and relatively easy. Be smart and dont play any virtual games involving real cash.

It isn't a cheat , that kinda thing will happen in live poker as well as ANY online poker card room, he didn't need to hit the 8 to beat you anyway if the board paired you getting beat by any full house, also if its rigged who is it rigged for, doubt the guy with 8888 even won and even if he did why would pokerstars care so much that that one player won a $20 s&g how does it help them? they just care about the rake, if they did rig it it only would hurt them.

You fucked up hoss. Should have played a little safer until that river peeled off then nail his ass. Especially if you put him on a set you should have made sure the board didn't pair. You would have been hit by a fullhouse if it hadn't been the quads. Simmer a little bit.

which sent a message "I was drawing to the flush please just call, let me see the river." If you had checked he may well of checked, hoping to get a free chance at a full house, with a 1000 chips left should a flush drop, which you could of bluffed at spades that is... perhaps unlikely. If you had gone all in he would of seen the straight and folded, ask any good player.
P.S NEVER draw to 2nd best hands gl.

$20 dolllar, 180 players, allowing for a bad run a min of 50 buy ins, ideally 100 to play those tourns.
9 10 suited is a good drawing hand, has it's limits because it can be the bottom of a straight\flush and new players disregard this.
The villan had the 8 of clubs which would of made the straight flush, a strong player would of considered this as a very important out, assuming he had got to the turn, maybe if the flop had been checked, villan bet small and hero called.

So this is a video proving that online poker is random? I mean if you are gutted by being beat like this, DO NOT QUIT YOUR DAY JOB. The statistics of beating your straight is: 10 outs once (1 eight, 3 sevens, 3 sixes and 3 quack quacks) =
77.27% in your favor. Now lets put that into monkey maths:
77% - will roughly equal to 1/4 (25% x 4 = 100%) - So you will lose this one 1/4 times. If you run this situation 1,000,000 times - statistics will confirm this. And remember, don't quit your dayjob!

Here's a thought. Play tighter in early stages of MTT Sit and Go's. Don't play dog$hit hands like 10-9s early on. You'll have plenty of time to get sucked out on once you're in the money or when you're at the final table.

@ParisTK nothing wrong with getting it in on the turn, might as well put in your money when you are the favorite. Plus on a board with 2 flush draws like that you really should be leading out with your straight, extract value/protect.
