One of the best women's collections I have ever seen. Think about it. When is the last time you have seen color on the designs and liked them as much as black. Absolute and total power, luxury, and elegance in understated packages. Forget about if it was "Valentino" or not, and take another look. It's stunning stuff.

The designers missed the note of Valentino: ruffles, layering, embellishment, bows. I mean these are the signature of Valentino, especially the red dress. Compare to Alessandra, she did bring something to the table. at least she took risk and pushed the envelope beyond the requirement of Valentino's tradition but still maintain her own identity into the clothes. The most disappointed collection of the current duo-designers is the couture collection of this following collection.Fail the tradition
yes oh my god !!!!the fall/winter couture was terrible!!!!!!
but the new spring 2010 is not that bad......considering i hate maria grazia and pier paolo,i was kind of surprised that i actualy liked the spring 2010 collection!
I believe Alessandras had a stonger and different point o f view conserning valentino style; this show looks like Oscar de la Renta´s style but in a cheap way!
i believe everyone has a different style, but when youre dealing with a fashion house that has 45 years with the same style,A STYLE THAT EVEN DOGS ADORE, you must respect it!!!!!
they were like "oh yeah.....valentino was romantic but as we are in charge now we can do whatever we like and we will change the whole fashion house for ever ...!" and that really sucks!
i tottally agree with u its the same thing happening with the designer (stephano pilati) he dose for ysl and so deffrint ysl is all about glamour and simple not lethere its crayze how they chose designers and they tottally change the style !!
Valentino is an icon and its so sad that these new designers can not follow up his steps and his vision of beauty. Very dissapoining!!!! I adore Valentino and unfortunatly this collection has nothing to do with what Valentino is .
n to join valentino house have to be a valentino fan know the history after all valentino will always be the owner of this house always will be there on the end of the runway = VALENTINO! n paola n the other i think they are provisional at least i hope!
are u from alessandra fan club???? she's a great designer but her clothes dont combines with the valentino house her clothes dont have furs dont have glamour dont have the known valentino sexiness always elegant but sexy the black n white alessandra seems sketch for a victorian fashion house with the long skirts i think she's fan of oscar de la renta carolina herrera but not a valentino fan
Valentino is so hard to live up to, thats why people can't connect with these new collections constructed by new designers i thought it was decent but lacking sex and glamour
yes valentinos is sexy glamour!!!!!!!! pure glamour n have the dresses have sophisticated designs u can see in all valentino "garavani" dresses how the lines meet one each other! it's fantastic valentino will be always my fav
When I think of Valentino I dont think of realism and modern i think of opulence and romance. This was a disaster....And that color palette was disgusting for fall.
with out master Valentino its not the same the collection seem good buy to safe I hope that they these two don't go with all this crazy design to make the house more modern, and then step into the crazy stuff that is not Valentino.
This collection and show was a DISASTER. The clothes were boring. Nothing new and nothing innovative. Those dresses, so simple, seen it before. More relaxed? More like uninspired. I don't know who these two designers are but they failed miserably.
im gonna tell you something....i dislike them both, but Maria Grazia HO-LY FUCK she is the most annoying, arrogant, presumptious bitch ever.

The yellow dress at the start was cute. The rest was big, simple and heavy. Like concrete.
