i have been to istanbul and other cities of turkey several times. my best friend is from turkey. you cant imagine how racists other greeks were to me in the school years but i didnt care. i dont have anything bad with turkey. turk guys and girls in our days are not as it was in 1800+. actually i have 2 pals. we are 3. i am greek, one is from turkey and one from cyprus. i am 21 years old and we are friends from out 14. 7 years now and we keep it still. :))

But Greeks are really narrow-minded with the term greek-turkish friendship and I was telling them that one of my pals is a Turkish guy, they thought of me as being non-Greek, A very big amount of the Greeks, think that Good Turkish is only a dead Turkish person. Of course, such a statement finds me extremely opposite even if I am a Greek. And of course there are Greeks that have no problem at all with Turkey as me.
