  • what a nice fish

  • Awwwww they are adorable!!! And I love how their little fins go round in a circular motion!! :3

  • Hehe...they're so chubby :D

  • hi so i was reading the comments and you said that you used soil and then gravel on top for your plants? now how does that work? sorry im a newbie at fish tanks, plants, fishes, etc. but i want learn. thanks

  • @GREATESTEVER86 There is a tutorial video on my channel. Click on goldfishhub and go through the videos that I have. Lately i have changed the way I plant these plants. I am using cloth instead of containers for soil. You can see that in one of my videos in my Channel. Youtube doesn't allow me to post links to my videos here.

  • What kind of lights are you using?

  • @taratarannosaurus two 4' Phillip 6500 from home depot that cost $2.65 each.

  • Amazing tank!!! I am wondering, what size is your tank and how much lighting do you have on it? I can never seem to grow anything on mine properly.

  • the plant name

  • what's that you used to plant the plants in?

  • @sheathed011790 Those are Utensil trails from Walmart. Put top soil then gravel.

  • @goldfishhub thanks! i'll try looking for them here in the philippines.

  • AWWWH UR GOLDFISHES ARE SO FAT AND CHUBBY AND CUTE <33

  • How many gallons is this? Those Ranchu look pretty big, so I'm assuming it's 200 or more, right?

  • can 1 ranchu and 1 comet fish live in a 5 galon tank? please answerasap.. thanks :)

  • @paulaxa1 No. Not even one goldfish can be kept in a 5 gallon tank. They will die and live a very miserable live before their death. You need at lease 30 to 40 G.

  • @goldfishhub 30 to 40 galon how many lt are?? (5 galonare 20 right?

  • @paulaxa1 30 US gallons = 113.562354 litres. You can use google to convert gallons to liters. Type "30 gallon to litres" in google. I would recommand getting a 55 Gallons. The reason is that we all want to keep on adding more fish to the tank whenever goldfish bug bites us.

  • @paulaxa1 No you new a bigger tank comets get pretty big

  • cool real nice man, how many gallon is this?

  • green foxtail? oh i thought they were anacharis.

but i guess they worked the same way :)

beautiful tank btw. it looked simple but it dazzled me

  • do u add co2? like flourish excel?

  • @albertkat26 No. It doesn't need any CO2 or fertilizer. Goldfish poops and breathing will take care of all fertilization need for the plant.

  • what light and soil do you use to make them grow so good?

  • how many gallons is this? 26 gallon bow front?

  • How do you multiply a foxtail plant?

also I have a 17 gallon tank, will I be able to keep two fantails in here?

    thanks a lot :)

Foxtail plants always tend to get destroyed when I merely touch them. How to cut these and multiply them is a mistery to me. Also how did you got them to stay in those neat white plastic boxes? I am planning to put this in my aquarium :)

    thanks!

  • @Karrdeh By cutting them to make new bunches when they grow longer.

They are very hardy. When they are long enough you can just cut them and tie them up. Then you put them in top soil and gravel. 17 gallon is too small for 2 fantails.

  • cute fish

  • ranchu goldfish is expensive here in philippines the price is 350 ababy ranchu goldfish

  • @karabuto45 I recently bought a small ranchu here in australia that cost me 35 dollars i.e equivalent to 1600 philippino pesos. goldfishes r much cheaper in asia than in here or europe. I wish i lived in asia.

  • so wonderful! this is how i envision my tank looking like someday...

  • Myriophyllum pinnatum is that

  • I dont know if you know but do u know any carpet plants that goldfish dont eat. I dont mind them digging cuz ill put them on rock

  • @userflock Unfortunately I don't know much about carpet plants. But goldfish will not be able to destroy green fox tail plants.

  • @userflock They aren't as short as HC or glosso types but h. tenellum (formerly e. tenellus, aka pygmy/narrow leaf chain sword) and dwarf sag (sagittaria subulata) are both "lawn" kind of plants that don't need CO2 or anything fancy.

  • Do u have cientific name of this plant?

  • What plants are those?

  • @ccase01atgmail Those are Green Foxtail plants.

  • @ccase01atgmail I think its Myriophyllum pinnatum just like userflock said.

  • what do you use to keep your water that clear?what filter are you using?

  • @s0uthp4w68 For that tank I am using aqua clear 110 and Ehiem 2229 filter. But if you are going to get a filter, I would recommend sump/trickle filter. They do excellent job and easy maintenance and cheaper. Instead of plastic bio balls fill up with 1/8' lava rocks in laundry back and put the bag in bio media area... You will find your self with crytal clear polished water even under very heavy load.

  • Thanks!

  • I love your tank, the water quality is super good, gorgeous and healthy ranchu ^.^

  • Super cute ranchus! I like the plants as well.

  • cute, i also removed gravel
