when I skate I often wear the most cheap and comfy clothes I can find, I don't feel like ruining my expensive nice clothes over skating, the guy at 1:00 knows what he's talking about

The smartest kid in this vid was the one at the end. Skating is not about fashion. I personally still wear somewhat loose fitting/baggy pants because they keep me comfortable. Sometimes I see these little kids wearing jeans like they were spray painted on, looks quite silly IMO...

Animal or Volcom or Quick Silver or just a regular cool top.

A pair of jeans, not to skinny, not to baggy.

Airwalk shoes.

DC Cap.

Hoodie (Whatever i got).

Rope as a belt.

I usually wear anything when I skate don't need expensive clothing because they're gonna wound up dirty and maybe even ripped....

Funny - these kids are HIGHLY conscious of their style. It cracks me up that they act like it isn't important what they wear. Every detail of their look is calculated and considered. I believe them that they think about the practical matters of having flexibility while skating, but the belt is cinched JUST enough to keep their pants up, but to expose JUST enough boxer shorts. It's a great look and culture, but to say that they don't really think about their style is disingenuous.

idiot at 1:42, trash skaters wear the shoe string not for a "trend" but for when our sneakers rip we tie it down until we get shoe glue that way you dont have to end your session. and your rougue status tee is the sold out version the one at pac sun not one of the originals that came out before rob got hyped

Well obviously some skaters look at wearing the shoe string as a trend as he wasn't the only one wearing it.
