Je pige pas pourquoi cette période de Magma est souvent décriée par la plupart des fans.Je le trouve sympa le groove de Bobino.C'est une des façettes de ce groupe unique.Une période parmi d'autres en somme.J'adore!

What people must understand is that Magma's Kobaian myth is no si-fi adventure! It is as metaphorical as Sun Ra's knowledge of the beyond! There's no actualy language, cult or myth! Magma in the early 70's were a band that had the plan to shock the french ears! The band was a group of 21st Century Classical listeners and Free jazzers! They had the feeling that France was sleeping and that jazz wasn't really appreceated enough. That image they had in those days was really humoristic.

Comme ds les prédications d'Hilter, la violence (mise à part la destruction des tympans) de Vander consiste en l'association avec la "mère mauvaise", c'est avec elle qu'il s'associe pour "tuer" le père. La structure de toutes les "compositions" est toujours la même : 1) chercher au fond du ventre (magma matriciel) les griffes (la mère mauvaise) gros yeux, air méchant etc... 2) "tuer" le père psychique 3) content du meurtre, paralyser "caster" son auditoire. Fascinating.... Vander looks like a cult leader, part messianic, part demonic... I have the Magma Live album, and that too is pretty enigmatic. What I have always wondered is: how do you explain this music to your band, if you've written a 'song'? I'd like having been a fly on the wall at some of their early rehearsals... "now look, what I want you to play here is something like this, whereas I sort of go like this ..."
