My mate did Mark Sisson's programme. Gained 40lbs on her gut, butt and chin. Had heart surgery last week.
I sent her a copy of Skinny Bitch by Rory Freedman.
If you want to drop weight, eat like a fucken asian! Rice, fruit and veg. You dont see any fat chinese rice farmers but ALL the pork farmers look like pigs.
Im training Muay Thai here. All the fighters eat like to cut weight. Me? I just feast all the time on the high, low fat raw plant foods. Fucken No Brainer! ;)
@TheUnbreakableOne I went from 390 to 280 doing low carb. Just remember that you cant go back to your old habits. You'll just get fat again. Its such a great diet once you start putting more things back in. I feel like a man when I'm able to eat as much as I want without worrying. Its a relief from all the low fat propaganda.
@TheUnbreakableOne Recipe for failure. The body runs on carbohydrates, and the 'high fat' is whats holding you back. You should consider raw vegan/ fruitarian if you really wanna get healthy. You will fail in a year tops if you haven't already.

I changed what I ate and how much, serving myself half as much and putting the rest away before sitting down to eat. If I pushed to hard, my body pushed back and I went on a binge, so I learned not to lose more than 5 lbs. per week.

Awesome! 3 pounds is the perfect rate for your size IMO and this might sound strange but I think your paleo diet is making your skin look good. Ive heard that about low carb before. The ads for cosmetics always use the word "radiant", so that's what I'll use, you're looking more radiant, less pasty.
I'm sorry to tell you this but yeah, they kind of have. I mean, I can still bench 335LBS and squat and deadlift near 600 LBS, but I'm fighting tooth and nail to simply maintain those numbers. My plan's to maintain as best I can and then build up again once I've reached a more manageable weight.
Well I've been watching your videos since around the time you started making them and you've come a LONG way physically and just in your general outlook. Glad to see it!

Thanks for your comment. You should do some research on the benefits of intermittent fasting. The evidence suggesting it's efficacy is impressive.
I've lost more than 5 pounds/week a couple times but, on average, I've only lost a little more than 3 pounds/week throughout this journey.
