Our intelligence is likely what is needed to make more effecient use of the resources we have, but it is our ego and lack of intuitiveness that cause us to consume more resources than we need to in the first place.

The Republicans pretend to agree with Ron Paul. But he is the only one who makes sense. Granted the Consumption Tax is largely unworkable. But real life is we have to reduce the national debt in half. Bottom line is we need a $500b surplus for the next 10 years. Not a good idea to tank the dollar. But people will have to accept it. Since it is the lazy thing to do.

You have to cut all your expenses for your family and household. Why can't we hold our congress, politicians and state governments to these same standards/ DO NOT APPROVE ANY MORE TAX INCREASES!!! Why it is imposible for the national duet to be payed off is because we have a duet based money system. 100 % of all new money created comes in to currulation threw 1st printing the new money , then borrowing that new money and adding it to the national duet.

Money has value as long as the people using the money believe it has value. If that belief is altered and people lose their confidence in the money, then the money loses its' value.. When the money loses its' value, people are then forced into bartering for their needs until a new currency can be created that people will trust. People do not trust in the value of something because they are told to trust it, they must trust it from the gut.
