No attack boost is permanent, Q's 3 taunts to 50% damage reduction and Hugo's 3 taunts to 66% damage reduction are the only 2 I can recall lasting the whole round. Q's stun meter also decreases faster after one taunt.
No it doesnt, opponent will be on ground but I see that Q is in front of Chun with this move.He wanted to be in front of opponent and try something on his wakeup.
Ha it may seem that way. What seems like part of the plan to us could be a flaw on his part, you never know. I've seen him give away rounds due to taunting, why would he do that on purpose?
this match is an example of kuroda being the master of the game. Watch at 0:15 - 0:20 When Q is knocked down Kuroda knew that Kta was going to go for a kara grab so he did a Super Jump Cancelled Command Grab so that her grab would not connect. That was amaaaazing.
The start up invulnerability for chuns SAII ends before she hits you, so she is more vulnerable at the beginning of her super than most other chars/SA's.
I'm a noob at this game, but I like to watch the pro vids. Sorry to ask, but what exactly happened at the end? Both players activated their special art it seems? Why was it not a double hit instead?
Ah...this is the kind of match I like to see, Chun-Li getting her brains bashed in.

Sorry I'm a 3S noob. Are Taunt boosts (like extra damage) permanent or do you loose them after you get hit?
CiciColino 2 years ago
@CiciColino some stay, most dont. Q's defense taunt stays with you, the power up ones dont (like Ken's)

0:17 I dunno why Kuroda would use double dash punch if single EX dash punch + HK is stronger.

cause that puts opponent to his feet

because he wanted chun li to be close when she stand up

I just said that..

@RyukendenY Good question, maybe it's cause it helped him gain more distance, or reaction time, or he just likes to show off combos.
Im not that great of a player so i honestly don't know, maybe it was a mistake on his part?

@Mugen123456789 Kuroda doesn't make mistakes man.

Yea, I was just being sarcastic, but who knows. Kuroda is definitely the most complete 3rd Strike player in the world

taunts boost defence by around 13% per up to 3 times

Hard to tell. It may have something to do with priority of the number of startup frames. I'm no expert though.
robwest92 2 years ago
q's super = higher priority
barsx101 2 years ago 2
actually, chun li's super really doesn't have much on priority, it's just really fast and strong.
You can counter it with a standing jab, and it can even be stopped by fireballs if you know the trick.
