Thank you for wasting my time to see a bit of water be poured and no actual Shinto Shrine praying. = / Trying to prove a point to someone and that totally just wasted my life.
日本語「よく」話せません。, but I want to sincerely thank you for this video. It was very kind of you. I hope that in the future I will be able to visit this shrine. I am learning japanese so that I can travel in your country. I am currently living in Canada. Hope to see any other of your great video online
I am somewhat confused by the cleansing ritual shown here. Wasnt the individual to take the ladel in their right hand and wash the left and then left to wash right, then cleanse their mouth and then finally scoop the ladle between both hands washing their wrists. I saw no evidence of this. Again, I have never seen this variety done before. Is it specific to the area depicted? Again thank you for answering.
One important thing this video neglects: the true origin of Shinto. When you say Shinto is a traditional religion of Japan, it is deceptive. A well written article on Shinto at a WSU site. Check out my Profile then click the Website to find out the true origin.
i love your upload. i have great respect in your religion. one day if i can visit again in japan ill try to visit that place. in july is there any same festival in all of japan?
In many cases shirines are built using natural landscapes and main buildings are always located at the highest places. First Clime up the hill by stairs, then walk through stone-paved approach, then purify yourself by holy water, then approaching the altar, where you are suppose to say a prayer.
Jesus Christ suffered and died for all of us to save us from the judgment that we deserve for our evil deeds, and he wants to be your savior and the Lord of your life and give you peace. :)

Oh. So sorry.○┓
You are right.
This is my original method.
I think important thing is clear heart and body.

At which point does the actual 'praying' begin and end? I can see you walking to the shrine but no actual 'calling the Kami' etc

That's right.○┓

I like it without a voiceover, but then I also know a bit about what's going on. I like it that you can hear the birds instead of someone talking.
