  • I'm 13 and I have 1.

  • beautiful guitar! very pricey, but if you have that kind of money to spend, spend it!

  • Want !!!

  • hmmm id rather get a taylor...

  • @sharkie00000 LOL

  • @sharkie00000 Not if you played an om1

  • @sharkie00000 I have a Taylor GS5, and my friend has the Collings D2H.

This video doesn't show the true tonal beauty of this Collings but it is definitely far more superior than any Taylor

  • Is the Dreadnought shape is much lauder than OM ???

  • @rastamaniakTHC Typically yes and it will typically have more bottom end too

  • Beautiful high-end overtones, how they sound brand new right off the wall. Nice guitars! Well worth cost compared to say a 'custom shop' fender solid body selling for 3-5k.

  • I really don't think that sounds that good. My $400 Yamaha literally sounds better

  • @WildGunman77 Get your hearing checked

  • @WildGunman77 Wow, that'd be interesting to hear, post a video.

  • sweet sounding guitar

  • Actually you can buy one for about $2400 to $2500 used.

  • Great sounding guitar. Unfortunately, it costs about $5,000 more than I can afford right now.

  • @mudhens4ever A standard OM1 costs about 3400 new. Used, they are commonly available well under three grand. The moron upthread who says his Yamaha sounds better is obviously not a guitar player.

  • All-mahogany guitars sound really sweet. This Collings packs a punch. I think if he had longer nails the trebles would ring out some more when playing fingerstyle.

  • I have been listening to all the mid-size reviews posted, this guitar truly sounds awesome!

  • A flat top guitar, just to confuse the issue can actually have an arch, but many luthiers build an arch into the top, sometimes building the arch into the bottom of the bridge. Also the top can be pulled into a hump by the tension of the strings. Either way it is still a flat top! Arch tops are this shape because the top is carved rather than bent into an arch.

  • I would like to hear a tune that expresses more of the prowess of the guitar than that of the player.

  • flat top is just what the majority of older people call acoustics since their tops are flat. Majority of electrics have archtops, i.e Les paul.

  • What does a non-flat top guitar look like?

  • I'm not quite sure what they exactly mean by flat top, but I guess it is the opposite of an archtop? Archtops are most distinctly represented by the hollow electric jazz guitars. Just google search "Archtop Guitar." Though I'm not sure that is what they mean as "non-flat top."

  • what do you think of the Collings Baby. I bought one used for 2100.

  • This is my dream!

Thank you for showing me it.

    Best regards

    Staffan
