this looks like the Lollapalooza show, they were fucking insane. One of the main bands im looking forward to seeing @ Bonnaroo, they tear it up on stage
I love both, no doubt but their styles are so different from each other. I can see similarities in how much energy they put into their live performances though. It's fuckin crazy how much they get into it. I never thought to put the two together, but now you got me thinking what a ridiculous concert that would be!
Ha, Jack is pretty brilliant live to my ears. He's got a million tones and always goes for broke. Well, at least with the White Stipes - his playing is slightly more polished with the Raconteurs.
Just a few nights ago I saw a vid of them on Auston City Limits...at first I was gonna change it then they started playing and I couldn't resist. It sounded awesome. I ended up watching the whole concert :P
hillary you're spot on! outside of bjork (the reason i went) they were the only other performer that day that blew my socks off! My partner and i still talk about them and are seeking out their releases as we speak.
I saw them at the wall of sound festival in ft worth texas last night and I also had never heard them before... all I can say is my mind was completely blown away
they rock

If they had one of the greatest guitars players ever they would be as good as the White Stripes. He can dance and sing almost as good as Jack.
