@Axxeleration84, that's not cheating. He used the Nihopalaoa and a pinch of echo herbs (the niho reverts the echo herbs effect) Niho + (item) never fails.

Even though its raining he doesn't always spawn, you basically need to keep exiting and re-entering until you come in with the hunter talking to you, and saying its time, and you will also notice how the raining has picked up a bit.

During the rain, go around Giza looking for old trees, cut them down and that will create a bridge, the beast it located south-east there is also a save crystal down south.

You have to accept the hunt and then find the petitioneer and accept the hunt and then you go find it, which I can;t. Can someone tell me where you can find it in Giza Plains

Giza Plains must be rainy, first. Then there are 6 withered trees that have to be knocked down, to form a "bridge" to the hidden part (Tracks of the Beast). When you enter that part, is must be heavy rain (the guy Bansat at the entrance will tell you whether or not Gil Snapper is present).

To collect your reward, return when Giza is dry.

Dont defeat him! He is easy money! Equip thiefs cuffs and use the technique steal to get 1000 8000 Gil. You can do this as many times as you want.

the provisioner is at rabanastre to the north ALL THE WAY. his name is montblanc and hes to the left inside a house (thier secret hideout) 2 bangaas will be guarding the door and you need a clan primer to get in. (u get one after you beat first hunt)

This is onw of the hardest marks of the game, if you battle him with low levels. I defeated it only on level 40...

The easy way is to fight him only after Bur-Omnisace, when you can buy some ice shields.

I defeated him with my chars at levels 34-36, using a combination of Quickening chains and brute force. Wasn't too terribly hard -- Ring Wyrm was more troublesome for me (but my chars were at lvl 30 when I took him out).

yeah, you need to kill atleast 12 hunts then you can buy it from the Muthru Bazaar and also the hp buff spell (bubble) which is just as usefull.

There are ones in the two safe zones too. They could be easily missed. I think it was mentioned that there are 6 trees in total (1 per zone)

this may be dumb but what i did was get as much quickenings as possible early on, especially when party members rejoin you and have tons of LP. I easily beat bosses and marks by using tons of quickenings and mist chains.

when i want the giza plains to be on the rains i talk to the town gossip by either the protectives store or the weopon store in rabanastre and she seems to change to seasons.

you can find the way to tht place in the south east of giza plain .. but you need to cut the all the 'dead' trees first .. there are 6 of them, once you done this then there should be some kind of 'bridge' in the south east area that lead to 'tracks of the beast' ..

Nihopalaoa: Reverses effects of items. So technically Echo Herbs + Niho can silence anything vulnerable to silence.

You just have to exit and enter "Tracks of the Beast" everytime you do the weather in that area will change. Also when it's the right weather Bansat will tell you it's there.
