I think it really comes down to the people in the crowd. Like he said the same stuff at Warped in MD and no fights broke out. It wasn't the fact that people weren't letting out their aggression and hitting each other, we just know that its not personal. It just what we do. If you're a member of the hardcore community, you know that. If you have a problem with someone, you settle it somewhere else and you settle it one on one.

There's a good chance he didn't want people to fight each other. Just "feel" the music and have a good time. If someone is standing there doing nothing, try to get them into it. Otherwise you know the ol' saying... "If you can't take a hit, stay out of the pit."

I assume that the set was stopped by concert officials since I've seen that happen multiple times. That's why he called them idiots. I just saw them and there was like 6 fights and they didn't stop any songs. I wouldn't blame them or call them pussies for stopping when it was probably out of their control.

Its funny because the songs are violent the vocalists say no one stand still if they're standing still fucken move them some vocalists even say let me see some fucken violence no one stand still etc etc and fights happen and then they get pissed because the show gets stopped. @screamorockstar I see your point and I love that explanation. I just think it's the mentality of the kids that go to these shows. I mean, here in Colorado when they played Carbomb at Warped, some guy from a local band got jumped. Then three months earlier, at the Welcome to Hell Tour, during TAS' set, some kid kept getting knee dropped in the face and by the time the bouncers got to him, he was in a coma. That still happened even after Vince yelled at the crowd to calm down.

All i hear is, open this place up, everybody move, and lemme see some violence, They just want people to move and have fun during their set. Pits are about letting out your energy and its a form of catharsis for people. Some kids get mad and wanna fight after they get accidentally hit in the pit. If they dont like it then they should just leave.
