Hey, I admire your passion to receive the Holy Spirit! One of the things that helped me was to just believe that i already had Him living in me. So it's not so much about receiving, it's more about believing. Because He wants to fill you, and experience Him. So ask him with all that you have to fill you and believe, you will know when He fills you because you will speak in tongues, it's the craziest thing! but I will pray and believe that God will meet your expectations!
