I presonally think ABC did a GREAT job with the debate last night. What a difference from CNN or NBC who tossed nothing but softball at these 2. We need to hold our candidates feet to the fire on question marks about them. Especially Obama who is in reality unknown and with little experince making big promises that he just likely can't make good on.
There's no problem asking tough questions for the canidates. But the problem comes when we dont have a question that has any affect on voters for 40 minutes. Instead of health they wanna talk about lapel pins? Instead of more people dying in Iraq then on 9/11 they wanna talk about neighbors? That crap is completely irrelevant. How are they gonna fix the economy or fix iraq is way more important
There are ALOT of voters out there that wanted Barack Obama to seriously give a straight answer on these questions ABC asked of him. They were imporatant. These 2 did 21 debates for Gods sake...we all know where they both stand on Health care, Iraq, NAFTA etc
Wait until Obama debates a feeble minded John McCain. Senator Joseph I. Lieberman won't be around to correct him on NATIONAL TV...lol
I like McCain as a person seems like a generally nice guy but he better not go negative or Obama is going to crucify him in a head to head battle with no notes to read from.
Why couldn't ABC live stream the video online like CNN does for us internet users. I'm very disappointed that I didn't get to see the debate because I live in NC and I'm voting in the primary.
i think it has much more to do with choosing the videos. i stopped watching the youtube debate the moment i witnessed a question about global warming asked by a snowman...
RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT He has never voted to raise taxes. He has never voted for an unbalanced budget. He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership. He has never voted to raise congressional pay. He has never taken a government-paid junket. He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch. He voted against the Patriot Act. He voted against regulating the Internet. He voted against the Iraq war. POST THIS TO 10 VIDEOS TO SPREAD THE WORD
Dude, uploading videos and all that crap is far from the problem with the ABC debate, or any debates... The YouTube debates were butchered, as with so many questions to choose from all you end up with are the questions that the major media sponsor would've asked anyways... the only difference is that they are asked by a snowman...
OK than I am a lemming too.We a in for a big change in our precetion of events. This is the age of a new ere. Some have opened there eyes and can see.We are only triing to help you see too.
The debates showed that Romney and Rudy are awsome. The two might be the best leaders in American history. Shame on Ron Paul and Sam Brownback for their cheep shot and desprate attempts for attention they need to drop out and leave it to best!!!!!!!
Let's see, Romney refused to specifically refute the Brownback ad, and Rudy was ashamed of all the many mistakes he'd made in his life. Best leaders in history? Not even compared to Ron Paul, much less Reagan.
They had 1 i-caught question that is it all I remember & It was not a top rated one either it was 3rd page out when you hit the TOP rate tab to top of that page of all vids only. 1 or 2 email/text that I remember. It ran very smoothly never the less.
Nice. I have been wondering (and worrying, heavily) about what problems there could have been with trying to create an interface between the mediums. This idea has a lot of potential, but it won't appear that way of the initial launch of such an interface isn't properly configured.
One thing they are doing which the YouTube/CNN Debate should have tried - is allowing us to rate the questions so the top videos will get answered.
Yet, both CNN & ABC have the same problem in connecting internet users with the candidates; they select the questions for the candidates ... and that isn't fair.
We should keep the CNN/YouTube method of uploading videos, but they must reform the way our questions are chosen.
It is VERY hard to navigate that site & it sends you in loops a my friend Cfann also discussed with me.

You know, they just won't let me upload another video.
And looking at the videos actually being uploaded, it's obvious the majority of them are handpicked by ABC.
It is an ABC site but I-CAUGHT TV is YouTube's television project. Why isn't YouTube more involved with what's going on over there ?
