You can sing, but you can't get the sound right for this song, it's supposed to be mocking and amusing, that aside, damn good effort!

The sound is quite good actually! I do an acoustic version myself, and it sounds similar, though a bit more playful. The way I imagine it; who is the devil talking to? I don't think he's having a beer at the pup telling his story to someone, I think he's telling his story to a girl, perhaps one he met at the bus stop (please allow me to introduce myself). He then leaves with her, and (pardon my vulgarity) by the end of the song he's having a damn good shag!
