@MsDeadman1998 for all vegas pro 11 guys: when you opend the type title there is a little button with 4 squares on it next to the timeline. click it...there you can select "fly in"

Very helpful intro as im trying to get used to using Sony Vegas, the only thing that confuses me is that when i open the Video FX box i don't get an animate or anything option below my perspective bar, is there an option i haven't selected maybe ?

@CookieLovingZombie - Make sure you're putting the effects on the background like I did. Also, it may look like the effects go away when you change your text, but make sure you watch it back fully as it may just be lag or such.
