@rvgianskie it is so-so. Visually it's interesting but eventually if you play it enough you will turn the animations off for much faster gameplay. You can't cheat against another real person (except for owning fake cards). The game is simple to play, complex enough to test strategies. It sports 3 seasons of cards each bringing new strategies in (you need to download the update to make use of those cards though). Computer player can be a challenge (almost like they are cheating lol).

@rvgianskie Some cards are so redundant they will never see use, some are overpowered and you see them in many decks (basically like every card game in existence -except the old Magi Nation Duel). None of the extra features are of much use, you'll be more playing the game than anything else. Try ebay, Toywiz or Amerzon.

cheap version you don't even need the icamera then right? you could of jsut made the board it's self read the cards. what's the point of it being a camera?

The point is, unless you wanna pay AT LEAST TWICE the amount of money for a too-sophisticated hyper digital board or something like similar to the Microsoft table thing, then the eye toy is the cheaper, for them AND you, choice. Plus the monsters ARE on the cards themselves. there's even an interactive mode. you place the cards on the table, this also helps tell what card is face-up when, and improves computing speed

also, what I mean by the monsters ARE on the cards themselves, obviously they aren't 3D projected holograms, making the game even more complex and putting even the PS3 to its breaking point, but they are rendered through an ARtoolkit-style program, only meant for the PS3, and a lot cleaner-looking as well.

You 'upload' your deck to your PS3 and it randomly selects your cards for you in online games!

Seriously can´t the cards be copied through a comp realy easily or is it some kind om chip inside the card cus if ya play online and u meet a guy with only copied cards and u have originals then u would get rather pissed off so i don´t realy know but the game looks realy cool though! it get´s 5/5 stars I tryed to expand this comment but it was more than 500 letters so I couldn´t finnish! But I gota try this one out!

Nice! It's innovative games like this, that just might save the ps3. I have to agree Sandalphon though...games like these usually contain lots of bugs. Will the camera still be able to capture what cards the player is using when they're not placed properly or with the camera slightly tilted? I'm gonna wait this one out before I start jumping in the air...

It's always fun to play like that.

But there's two issues which seem difficult to solve.

First, do we really need the screen (and the console) to play what is in the end an ordinary card game ?

Playing fast, or waiting for the animations to end before playing again...

Second, it will be easy to trick the system, because it uses black cases to recognize which card is currently used. Then, to print his own cards will be easy...

Actually when you play online, you use your registered deck and the game tells you what card you draw. That way you can't be sneaking cards off the bottom, etc.
