you guys dont sound like you dont get the feel of this awesome jazz song you need to do more than play it you, have to feel the song running hrough you and you HAVE to appreciate jazz and its mightieness
not as good as i played the alto solo when we played this, i killed that, but it was nice. but you all slowed down in 2 places in the beginning a bit, and the drummer needs to be in time with the little ding thingys if hes gonna do them, and the end... well... nah. but overall not bad at all
Great overall sound. My only criticism is that the trumpets need to be more together in the last few measures. I know the parts are difficult, but that part needs a bit more work. Other than that, guys(and gals), it sounded SUPER!
Why did the trumpet improvise the solo instead of playing what was written? If the saxophones had improvised it would have made more sense. However, because they played the written solo, the trumpet should have also.

I realize that you posted this a month ago but your comment didn't prove much of any thing other than your own stupidity, the poster above you simply said "the trumpet suck" not refering to an indivdual person, unless of corse you only have one trumpeter in which case lmao, and you guys played that pretty slowly.
our jazz band plays this everyday instead of playing it for a concert. we consider this practice music

Sax section seems to carry the song more than the trumpets, but pretty good still. Nice overall Big Band feel
