I was introduced to Paul's music in Korea, I was stationed at Camp Humphreys, knew this cat who took us(me & my dude JV) riding around, he had this CD and was telling us about it, before he played one note we were intrigued, dudes name was John and I can still remember him saying, "the cover just looked wild, I dont know what made me get it, and then when I played it... here just check this out... Wow i recall the 1st time i heard this smooth tune... The feelings that came over me as i held my girlfriends hand driving down the fdr "n.y.c. "during the summer. Its mid july 90 degrees & we have no worries what so ever. Its great when you have love & jazz meshing as one.
