I would like to thank all you Carrie fans for calling me an idiot and asshole because I don't like her music. You've convinced me to not just not like her music, but to not like her either since she has such fanatical fans.
Also, thanks to you guys continuing to insult me, I've decided that from now on I shall refer to going to the bathroom as a 'Carrie Underwood'; ie: I just took a huge Carrie Underwood and I don't remember eating corn.

@IbnFawzi I think Randy ruined his own song, if you're going to call ANYONE mediocre, it should be people like Mr. Travis. Carries voice (my opinion, but Im normally right) is phenomenal, she can blow most out of the water, and shes up there with a lot of the big names that have been around for ages. I think shes a breath of fresh air. Young, beautiful, sweet, down to earth, classy, intelligent, and talented. She does seem a little fake/dry to, but thats fine, everything else makes up for it

Carrie did a good job but I dont think this song if for her. Dont get me wrong I love carrie and think she's a good singer. But I agree her voice is to powerful for this song. Now when she sang God Bless Thr Broken Road with Rascal Flatts was a good song for her. This song is just about so much hurt and emotion and Allison did a better job with it.

to TheRealMarlena, I also have on a disc, I bought called American Idol, Seasons 1-4, which she was interivew by Paula Abdul and she asked Carrie about being one-take Carrie, she said she doesn't want to waste time of everybody, trying to an album by screwing up everybody, her job was to sing and that's exactly what she did. Plus you got to remember she only 60 days to get the album done and out.
I think that they both sound good. I think that Carrie would sound better if it wasn't with a a bunch of people screaming and it wasn't echoing so much. If it was her on the album I think that they would both sound as equally as good, but that is just my opinion.
I agree, they both sound good, if it weren't for that group screaming and audio be a little better, they didn't set it properly for extreme high vocals Carrie has.
With Carrie, it doesn't make a difference in the studio or at concerts or even on her albums, to me she sounds exactly all three ways. She is that good, which I find rare thing with artists.
Yeah but in the studio they can take breaks and piece it in together. They can breath easier in the studio so it sounds a just a tad better. I saw Carrie at the WalMart concert and she was great. Although I think that Keith was better but only because he gave away his guitar, it was so cool. Anyways everybody does sound a little bit better in the studio but for Carie it just makes her sound that more perfect! :D
They did an interview with Carrie awhile back, I forgot when, in that interview, she said she has a reputation of doing only one time completely, and her producer said she did it that way this album, they didn't have to piece, they could almost do the recording at her concerts, they don't because like hear they have people screaming. Same either way.

Yes, I am serious, that's what producers of her album, called her, "one take, Carrie, the musicians and technicians were one that kept screwing it out, either hit the wrong button or something else, and producers would get upset, they said once started to sing, she so good its like wow. She said on show called CMT "In the moment", she actually didn't say it, it was producers said it.
Okay, I wasn't going to go ahead and look into it. I usually trust people until they break that trust or like a just have a bad feeling about them or something lolz. I kinda allready moved on. lolz :P :)

And secondly, did I ever state that I liked Carrie? I personally think Alison's voice was sweeter and gentle, matching the mood more, Carrie's was too powerful.

nahhh... i love this one much better... Carrie has strength, sweetness, and emotion to her voice... Allison has sweetness and lightness to her voice... and they both sound good... but put together with Brad Paisley with a deep, rich, strong tone...i think it's personally better with Carrie... she's got a voice that goes really well with ANYONE... and it proves true with Oh Love, their other song

Carrie did a good job but I dont think this song if for her. Dont get me wrong I love carrie and think she's a good singer. But I agree her voice is to powerful for this song. Now when she sang God Bless Thr Broken Road with Rascal Flatts was a good song for her. This song is just about so much hurt and emotion and Allison did a better job with it.

to TheRealMarlena, I also have on a disc, I bought called American Idol, Seasons 1-4, which she was interivew by Paula Abdul and she asked Carrie about being one-take Carrie, she said she doesn't want to waste time of everybody, trying to an album by screwing up everybody, her job was to sing and that's exactly what she did. Plus you got to remember she only 60 days to get the album done and out.

I think that they both sound good. I think that Carrie would sound better if it wasn't with a a bunch of people screaming and it wasn't echoing so much. If it was her on the album I think that they would both sound as equally as good, but that is just my opinion.

With Carrie, it doesn't make a difference in the studio or at concerts or even on her albums, to me she sounds exactly all three ways. She is that good, which I find rare thing with artists.

Yeah but in the studio they can take breaks and piece it in together. They can breath easier in the studio so it sounds a just a tad better. I saw Carrie at the WalMart concert and she was great. Although I think that Keith was better but only because he gave away his guitar, it was so cool. Anyways everybody does sound a little bit better in the studio but for Carie it just makes her sound that more perfect! :D

They did an interview with Carrie awhile back, I forgot when, in that interview, she said she has a reputation of doing only one time completely, and her producer said she did it that way this album, they didn't have to piece, they could almost do the recording at her concerts, they don't because like hear they have people screaming. Yes, I am serious, that's what producers of her album, called her, "one take, Carrie, the musicians and technicians were one that kept screwing it out, either hit the wrong button or something else, and producers would get upset, they said once started to sing, she so good its like wow. She said on show called CMT "In the moment", she actually didn't say it, it was producers said it.

For your information, it sounded like Paula was as surprised that producers made that comment, I think Paula was just confirmed that for herself more than anything, because Paula Abdul is singer herself, so she probably taken back by that nickname, I guess for singer to be able to do that.
