  • TH/SS termies make me cry. The 2+/3+ invul makes them really hard to kill if you are basing your army as an assault army. Best way I have found to kill em is to pour an especially large amount of firepower into them, but if they come in their lunchbox that they assault out of, you wanna try to kill other things on the board before engaging them or at least try to box them away from high priority targets with sacrificial units.

  • awesome !!!!!!!!!! what is its!? chaplins libary a normal?!

  • @Asken96 : It's a simple termy captain :)

  • He's super cool. First terminator I've seen with gold on his top. Very fresh look. Love it. 5 stars.

  • oh wow, that's nice

  • 0.o That thing is badass!

I'm thinking about taking this up as a hobby, about how much would it cost to buy all the neccesary paints and brushes, etc. for a beginner?

  • Depends on what you want to paint. 2 approaches; 1, get only what you need 2. get the full set of paints.

If you can afford to I'd get the full set. Vallejo paints are vast in range, but, round here the complete collection of vallejo vs gamesworkshop paints is roughly the same. Metals by gamesworkshop can work better though.

As for brushes, I go for a 10/0 for eyes, 5/0 for small detail work and touch-up, size 1 to mix paints, undercoat , larger details and base for 28mm figs.

  • Very well done. That is nice and clean. 5/5

  • nice

  • Brilliant!

  • How'd you paint the cloak? I can never paint them :(

  • HERES THE BEST METHOD... REPETITION.... JUST PUT THIN LAYERS OF white down 1 by 1 wait till the 1st layer drys then do the next, once it is all a solid smooth white... then for shadowing either use a wash or water down chaos black and lightly brush it into the crevices or wrinkles in the cloak!!!! hope this helps u

  • dude that helps me a lot :)
