I did this for a friend of mine on a ninja. His cable was very loose. After adjustments were made he took the bike for a spin and had issues shifting through the gears. He asked me to loosen it back to the way it was for it to work again. Do you know what might be wrong?

hi i have a cbr 125cc a left the key on and now the bat is dead and i ren the engine dry of gas av just put a litl bit of gas in and it hasint bin run in a week or 2 it has a kick start so av bin trying to kick start it and it trys to start and cut out i think its a auto rezerve on it and coz the bat is dead it still thinks it is a full tank and i cant get into the carb to put fule in it av tryed any help wold be good and its a new bike just look on ma page and u will se it runing
