I sure miss those days back in the late 1970s. Those TV characters still live on in our hearts. I was so thrilled when I actually took a trip to Milwaukee years later. I saw the brewery & sites that they show in the opening credits, like the tower with "Welcome Milwaukee Visitors." Although it was a show, ....it was still nice to imagine that Lavern and Shirley were still there someplace. I never liked when they wrote into the script about the move to California.
