@xnenaxo Since your hair is finer then mine you might want to be careful that other products donot cause fast build up or even hair that weighs din my own from products that have heavy oil or to moisturizing. I will always keep the Kinky Curly in my house as my staple and the Jane Carter Solution Define curl cream try that & see how you like it it's not to heavy at all much lighter then the kinky curly. You can get it from Whole foods thats where I got mine or you can order it online.
@2Lovely2Miss Check out Taren916 she has many videos on how to moisturize curly hair and has many great products to try for your hair type. I also tried many of her products she's used on product trail and reviews... Try products with Moroccan oil, Argan oil, Tea Tree oil, Joba oil, Almond oil... they also have products that consist of these ingredients at Sallys beauty supply. Also to Hot oi treatments, or Deep conditioning treatments are amazing. I will do a video on this ok. ;-)
Are u mixed race? I am. And ive been looking for a really good curly hair product. Am half Japanese and Black. And my hair is of course naturally curly. And long. It's more looser curls, but with some tighter curls underneath. And my main issue with my hair is that is gets dry. And I was wondering if you have any product ideas since u seem to know a lot about curly hair care. And could u please list them! Thank you so much! xoxo
@Lillyx3100 Lilly I will inbox you some things you can pick up at Sallys beauty supply. Are you in the states? I will list the few things I use ok. Give me until tomorrow. I have to turn in early tonight. I promise I get you that. :-) Thank you so much for your comment I have a friend who was a NFL player with the same mix. Beautiful mix to! :-)
@Vfare36 Thank you so so much! I really appreciate you talking your time to do this for me. Your such a sweet person. And Yes I live in Chicago :) I noticed you said you were originally from Chicago too. Are you still currently living in Chicago if you don't mind me asking?
aww i had the possibility to get jane carter solution shampoo a couple of days ago but i had no idea whether it was a good one or not, so i missed it. great to know it is moisturizing indeed, next time i'll give it a try. what is the consistency of the defining cream btw? is it dense, thin, oily, creamy, lotiony..etc? u look beautiful as always xoxo
@djsugah Hello sunshine . Glad your doing ok. It's more of a creamy lotiony type feel but if u rub between your fingers it doesn't leave a sticky or oil feeling almost like nothing was on it. I never came across anything like that before. I will have to send u some just in case you can't get your hands over it. I love it.Give me after the holidays & I send to u as a gift because u are so sweet always to me.Jane Carter has a couple shampoos moisturizing is what i have. I send u the link.
@Vfare36 aww thank u so much u r so sweet!!! jane carter seems interesting. moisturizing shampoos r so rare! do u apply a lot of the defining cream or just a little? on dry or wet hair? and does ur hair absorb it quickly? xoxoxo thank u :)
I disagree i think my hair grows more in the winter time. but then again the the winter I put alot more olive oil and coconut oil. and pin my hair up at night... I agree i keep it simple is the best way to get it done.
@appletinImom0f5 U keep ur hair up. Hair generally grows faster N the summer. It grows faster as much as 1/8 per month depending on the hair type care etc. The reason is simple simulation. The sun simulates your hair through heat causing it 2 grow @ a faster rate. There R studies on what makes sunlight trigger growth. 2 help your hair grow healthy &strong will require keeping the scalp clean with a good hair care regrim weekly & a healthy diet including drinking lots of water.
@Vfare36 I only drink water I cant drink soda and juice is to sweet. and i have to eat healthy cause i have low blood sugar issues. the heat to me hair in the summer with oil in my hair makes me hair thin out. i guess everyone not he same.its funny I know the issue but I have I cant help over doing it with olive oil and coconut oil lol .
@appletinImom0f5 Thats awesome that you drink water alot of people don't realize that all that sugar stuff is so harmful not just to our hair health but body and teeth health over all. My sister n law has low blood sugar levels also. Nothing wrong with maintaining your hair you seem to know your hair well and thats awesome. a lot of women really don't take care theirs. It's all about moderation & balance. Everyone has their thing and that's why I always stress that n my videos.
You look beautiful as always! One of the things that I love most about your hair is that your hair never looks dry. It always looks well moisturized and healthy. So everything that you're doing, continue! You look fabulous!
