This was extremely helpful, thank you. I would only suggest maybe you add some clarification that you edit the "Path" variable, not the "CLASSPATH" variable. Maybe I'm the only one, but that got me the first try. Great vid though.

JDK is awful, its beyond a nightmare to install. Editing a Path has never worked for me.

Sun's download manager just makes it more frustrating and difficult. That's why I told users in the video to download it directly instead of hassle with the download manager. You can always try an IDE like JCreator, which I forgot to mention. It's very easy to install, and all it requires you to do at setup is select the folder of the JDK. You do not have to edit a path for it; plus, it features things like auto-indent and syntax highlighting.

What screen-capture program do you use? I generally have a hard time zooming in with Camstudio, so I generally don't bother zooming, making my PowerPoint tutorials hard to follow.
