The oboe substitution was quite a pleasant choice without the oboist however you really needed to have added the bass. The nylon string guitarist should have played the bass part although I know the middle melodies are a great pleasure to play. There is a contrapuntal play between the bass (completely missing) and main melody not only melodically but also rythmically - so you lost the beautiful rhythmic contrasts also. In any case absolutely wonderful wonderful choice of music.
