I am a Hong Kong person and when I saw the news I tried my very best to gather friends of mine who were desperate of helping them to donate before the appeal was broadcasted, and we were praying for them. It was such a tragedy but I just can't help with thinking of the Haicheng earthquake when they successfully predicted it and evacuated the people. It seems to me that the educated people in China deserved better human rights. I hope that the money can help to reconstruct schools in Sichuan.
