  • Im sorry to say but that 23 incher? Yea... No, maybe that long, but much heavier, baitfish add 1-2 pounds. My friend thats a 6.8 lb fish i assume

  • barely had him hooked dang man hes hooked good

  • i live right next to stick marsh

  • me and my cousing saw a huge bass about 20 inches right on mantoish waters and it golped down two 2 inch rock bass we tried to catch it on biggest bass ive ever seen huge

  • seriously if thats a 4 pound fish u must be 8 foot tall and 400 pounds

  • im 10 and ive caught bigger. BY MY SELF

  • where is this? is it in florida

  • your on crack thats a 2 pound bass even with the 5 pounds the camera adds

  • 10 inch shiner to catch 12 inch bass bahahahahaha

  • I caught 12 bass in that spot today! Biggest one was 18lbs.

  • caught a shiner today that was around a foot

  • way to slam the rod

  • I don't get it. Largemouth Bass are not exactly hard to catch,, don't fight much and they taste like crap. Why bother? No offence to those of you that seem to treat these fish as some kind of religion,, I just don't see the appeal.

  • a bass is a guitar you dumbass

  • Go to the other side by the handicap pier when the water is flowin. Yuns catch bigger fish stacked like cord wood. Got that nice boat now get away from the parking area.

And leave it to shore fisherman who taint fraid no gator .

  • I caught my biggest bass in that exact spot 17lbs :)

  • I use lures most of the time. I'm sure a spro-bbz1 would work. Thanks for the tip.

  • spro-bbz1 shad, have you tried those? or do you not lure fish much?

  • alligator gar? and i got a 4.4 pounder yesterday. it was cool

  • man atleast show what the shiners look like :P

  • @se4side094 I will show the shiners on my next video. Thanks for the feedback...

  • @smoothcriminal997 You can find the big shiners in ponds or lakes around grass or weeds in the water. You can catch shiners two ways... Take a can of cat food and poke holes in the top of the can and place it in the shallow water. Throw pieces of bread around the bait area. This will also help bring the shiners to your location. Next once you see the fish come to the surface throw a cast net on top of the bread and cat food can or use a very small hook with a small piece of bread ball.

  • @smoothcriminal997 I recommend hooking the shiners in the mouth with the mouth closed. Use a 2/0 circle hook for 7 inch or bigger shiners. The fish will stay alive a long time. The key is to gently cast them in the water.

  • how do get the shiners?

  • @MegaHowtoMan I use a cast net and bread to catch the shiners. You can find these bait fish around grass or weeds in creeks, lakes, and ponds. Thanks for the post.

  • exuse my language but wardaddy your a dipshit. that twenty three incher was well over three pounds so shut your fat ass you dumb sombitch

  • My biggest bass so far is 7 pounds. I'm going for a 10 pounder this year :)

  • @crazyfin2 good, keep at it. I caught a 12 lbs 12 oz bass last year at briery creek lake in VA. I'll never forget it

  • whats the biggest fish u ever caught

  • I just caught a bucketmouth the other day, biggest bass I ever caught. I have alot of respect for these lunkers, they're just crazy looking in the water when you're fighting them and you would never think that a fish can wear a man down, but they can.

  • Located in Fellsmere, Florida. Google Farm 13/ Stick Marsh

  • where is this located

  • I live on lake okeechobee and use bass like you just caught for bait! not really but you get the idea, not 1 bass was over 3 lbs

  • nice man i lik u you catch tag and relase like me!!!!!

  • Good video, i love bass fishing

  • hey do southerners eat gators?

  • Yes, gator tail is very popular in Florida. Thanks for the post.

  • Oh ok i was just wondering b/c here in MN you dont eat much bizzare food. the most bizzare is probably a squirrel lol

  • YEah its good

  • dude a nice artificial frog will work nice in them water..GOOD JOB

  • I will give the frog a try. Thanks for the post!

  • Beautiful pond, reminds me of one I used to fish on. My largemouth record is a 9 pounder out on a golf course :P. For river fishing my biggest is probably 3 pounds.

  • Nice first bass! He was pretty! 5*

  • its more like 5 or 6 and maybe even 7 pounds

  • lol - maybe 2.5 lbs

  • Nevermind thought you were talking about the first one... as for the second one - the guy in vid is right 4-5 lbs.

  • dude that was like 5. not 6 or 7. learn to weigh

  • Very nice bass. MN largemouth are pale in comparison to the ones you guys have down in Florida. We tend to fish with live creek chubs and suckers, which produce fairly well. Nice video!

  • Yes, bass are delicious. Thanks for the post.

  • Are there poisonous spikes on bass as well?

  • Bass have no poisonious spikes.

  • Nice!!!!! can you by thoughs at like a bait shop are they like minows?

  • Yes, you can buy shiners at most bait shops. They are very common on the east coast; just ask for the biggest minnows available.

  • any one wana tell me what a shiner is?

  • something like a minnow. google it

  • Braid is the best kind of line your going to get for bass. I use 15lb spiderwire braid.

  • agree !

  • artificial bait is for real men

  • this video looks good in hq

  • I highly recommend live bait. Big bait BIG fish.

  • Im gonna start trying live bait makes sense knowing a difference it makes on the coast with reds and trout. Free line small perch, shad, probably tear em up .

  • good choice on the live bait, i love using the minnows, my bro caught one about that size 2 weeks ago up here in new jersey.. we were surprised he even bit cuz the weather was mighty cold lol.

anyways, what did u use, a bobber right? what size line and hook, and where did u hook the shiner on, and did u use a treble hook?

i know i ask alot of questions but im tryin 2 get good myself.... Thank you =]

  • I used a cork with a 4/0 circle hook and 20lbs braid. Thanks for the post.

  • Circle hooks work every time. Thanks for the post.

  • You stuck him good. nice vid

  • Red Rat-Traps on Farm 13...bounc'n off the stick-ups and hang on tight. Just caught 26 bass in one day! One went 6 lbs!

That place is nuts...scary to run my fiberglass boat in. Note: make sure you know the water.

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • yea ik it is but our biggest is a 9 pound that I cought on a slug-o great vid 5-5 for me

  • hey thx i just cought a 4 pound a 2 pound and a 1 pound bass yesterday and my dad cought a 3 pound chain pike and a HUGE 6 pound bass on large shinners but my dad cought the 6 pounder in open water with no cover we fish off the shore so idk if that changes any thing? but thx i wonder if were we live changes that because i live in MA.

  • Sounds like I need to make a trip to MA. 6 pound bass is huge. I have a caught few bass in open water, I guess you just never know where these fish may be located. Thanks for the post!

  • nice vid. i need help iv been fishing for 9 years im 14 years old can u help me?

  • I recommend using live bait (worms, crickets, or minnows). Always fish around cover like trees, rocks, and docks from shore. This will increase your fish catches. Use a small hook and cork this way you can catch anything that bites. If needed you can always catch your on bait. Any insect will work; I caught a 17.5" crappie when I was 11 on a small black beetle that I found under an old log. I wish you luck!

  • Good job. A good video. I have been guiding on the marsh for years and you are showing the people that the quality bass are still there and biting. Call when you are here again and I will take you out. Roger

  • Roger, I agree the Stick Marsh is still a big bass factory. Maybe one of these days you can show me the trick of the trade. Thanks for the response!

  • I brought some wild shiners and fished them and it was an awesome experince!! I caught a 5 lbs who struck soon as the bait entered the water lost two others text messenging. It was a blast!

    Fish on!!!!!!

  • A shake ever time a bass hits my shiner because you never know if it's a 10lbs or 3lbs. Most of the time it's a huge bass. Check out my new video "Catching Big Bass On Wild Shiners II". Thanks for the response and keep those shiners in the water!!!

  • Crazyfin, you are a braver man than I with those "agitators" hanging around! I've caught several of those big-headed, ultra-skinny bass before, too; a conservation guy told me they were just real, real old fish and were near to dying. Kinda sad in a way. Nice vid. Winkiedoodles

  • hey man i like the way you fish man... just keep doing what you do

  • Nice looking Bass! Great video. Keep those lines in the water!!! Dave. DV Editor. BragNRelease
