  • Firestone is the most wicked company in Liberia. How can u pay your worker $1,550 usd a year, around $130 usd a month? Each worker is to tip 500 trees a day. How can a family live on $130 usd for a month? These workers will work for the rest of their life and will never be able to buy a house or even a car for themselves. They r just surviving but never improving their life, while their so call bosses live in millions dollar Manson and ride The most expansive cars. I wonder what GOD the boss o

  • Why is the profit sharing ratio so low. Liberia gets 30 percent as tax! That is totally unfair.!

  • @stclared becuase they are very wicked. But wait, they have some of we Liberians to deal with before they take any drop of our oil form our country. There is no more free ride for these western nations. We know what we have and as a nation with a very small population, we know for a fact that we are very rich. If we had the kind of relationship with China that we have had with you guys for the past 160yrs, Liberia would had been a great place to live and never will we have to experience any war.

  • We know what our country has and don't need to be told by anyone. Liberia holds more than 50billion barrels of oil offshore. What we are asking you people is for all US and European companies to get the hell out of our country. All you know is steal and destroyed other countries while yours move foward. But that is all coming to an end. With SA joining the BRIC's countries, it gives we Liberians more reason to welcome the BRIC's nations and kick the West out. Starting with Firestone! wicked West

  • Look Mr. Hassan Hassan! the next time you're interview, you should speak very clearly. From the beginning, you water down the words natural resources when the woman asked you the question " WHY LIBERIA"...."SAY YOU WENT THERE TO LOOK FOR NATURAL RESOURCES" or should it say YOU WENT THERE TO EXPLOIT NATURAL RESOURCES!!! you wicked pink people calling your selves white. Get the hell out of my country. We are tired of been slaves to you idoits that hide behind the term INVESTOR! ROGUES, ROGUES!

  • Chevron has already told our government that with the siesmic info they've obtain on Liberia offshore oil reserves, other major US oil giants could show up soon. That means companies like Exxon, Shell, in addition to others joinors and majors like Tullow, Anadarko, Woodside, Repsol, Broadway Consolidate, China Sinopec which are all on the ground as we speak, plus onshore company like Simba energy on land. This is just oil alone! AA's need to wake up and come home to help rebuild Liberia!

  • We knew that Liberia holds the largest oil reserves in the whole of Africa long before Chevron ever steped on our soil to sign a US$10billion dollars+agreement with our government to ivest in 3 of our 37 offshore oil blocks. They are investing in only 3 out of 37. Do the math. Not to mention rubber, timber, gold, diamonds, buxite, maganese, iron ore, copper, cobalt, nickle, zinc, thin, offshore and onshore oil reserves, coocoa, coffee, and the list goes on. 3.4million population? wow LIBRERIA!!!

  • Firestone has been in Liberia since 1926 plus other weatern companies. What have they done for Liberia? nothing. Did we commit a crime because God blessed us with mineral resources? no. So, why can't you people leave us alone. Go some place else that has oil and develop their oil reserves and leave us alone. If you guys will not process our mineral resources which include gold, diamond, buxite, maganese, iron ore, rubber, timber, oil palm, coffee, cocoa, oil, etc, in our country, than leave...

  • @marck224 The great native peoples of Liberia and the African Americans come together we would be invincible. We would not need these so called investors.African American generate over a trillion a year in income. The media wants us to stay uninterested in Africa.Liberia is being exploited by Firestone since 1926 when that tyrant President King took land that Marcus Garvey wanted and gave it to Firestone.True AA's want unity with our brothers in Liberia

  • @makkool, Than spread the word! it's about time. Liberia is crying! and long been waiting! we don't have that much time! We may be far aprt from our people on the ground but thank God for technology..we are more connected than ever. My little sister just told me about one of her friends-AA who visited Liberia resently and came back to the US, packed up his whole house including his two cars and moved to Liberia. He just built a big mansion along the sea cost. He's about to open stores.........

  • @marck224 Our unity is the key AA and their brother community in Liberia will create a civilization unmatched in the world. We have the manpower, the beautiful land, natural and political resources.AA politicians protect Liberia in Government.Liberia is replacing South Africa as our number one African place of return. This is the dream our ancestors wanted.Liberia is the most beautiful land in the world.I see high speed trains, bridges, tunnels, schools, colleges, hospitals

  • @makkool, right on brother! I which lots of your AA's brothers would see this soon before it's too late. Now that the war that destroyed our country is over, our people are in more dare need than ever b4, it's time our AA's cousines connect with our people back home and help them in any way possible. Our people will appreciate what ever help they can get from our AA's cousines. AA's should not wait and let the whites come in and give all the help before they show up, it'll be too late. It's time

  • We Liberians are not going to sit and let these rogues calling them selves investors to come in and steal our natural resources. What happend in the past will not be allow this time around. Enougth of the stuppidness and none sense from these so call investors. Take your money somewhere else Mr. and forget our country. We don't need your money. All you peole do is steal and support war in developing countries so you can exploit at the end depriving the masses and their country from developing...

  • @marck224 Brother Im an African American but I consider Liberia my Homeland and I agree with you 100%.We have to control of our own destiny.

  • @makkool, nice to hear and I hope you have palns to visit or move back home soon because Liberia needs all her sons and daughters more than ever to usher her into that which she was created for. "The land of freedom and Liberty" and no body dare try to stop us.
