Toxin is a part of a superhero-team, but it seems like Marvel doesn't care about him too much. Same with the symbiote "Hybrid"... Carnage is supposed to be dead, after the Sentry ripped him in half, but that's not sure, because Cletus Kasady (the original Carnage) was supposed to apply his symbiote on other bodies and regenerate his own even from a tiny piece in his own blood.
