Technically, they are pretty equal. Dimebag plays typical heavy metal riffs that, yes, have a lot of emotions, but they sound the same over time. Well, they're both damned good, but on grounds of sheer versatility Buckethead wins this for me. He can shred, he can play funk, jazz, metal, hard rock, surf rock, more relaxed acoustic stuff... Some of his songs literally ooze emotion (disagree all you like, say he only sweeps and taps, and then search Watching The Boats With My Dad and eat your words)
