Great mower..... its what i cut my teeth on(along with an oliver1750)... but nothing beats a discbine. as long as you can stay in the seat it'll keep mowing
@amblefire 3rd normally. And then depending on the thickness either high or low. If its less grass hay, I normally run 3rd high, but if its a lot of clover, grass, or alfalfa, I run 3rd low.
@amblefire Cool. I'm going to be doing quite a few videos this summer. I always try to do something nobody else has a video of and it sounds like both of us are going to add a few. I'll be looking for them
Good song. Was that way out here by josh thompson. and we have a new holland 499, but we use our ih 986 to cut hay with that thing. i love the haybine, and it is so muc better then our old hesston pt7 that we traded it in for.
