  • I guess LBJ didn't like the Jokes

  • Pat was great, the whole show was ground breaking and led to all the afore mentioned political comics. What was it that led to Pat Paulson? Guys like Will Rogers, but they didn't do it on TV. Pat and the Smothers Brothers were the Grass Root foundation of todays Political Houmor.

  • goddamn censors.

  • And why can't we have some entertainment like this again. I am so fed up with reality shows and crudeness. In every show there is violence or sex. Even the news on cable has turned into a ratings horror with clowns and opinions rather than information.

  • @gocar1962 I agree.

  • @gocar1962 I agree, but if you think the cable news has turned into a ratings circus, watch the next political convention.

  • "You're in. You're out!"

  • Received this as a Christmas present this year. I am a total SB geek...greatest present ever!!

  • Long before the days of Jon Stewart, Bill Maurer, & Stephen Colbert. The late great Pat Paulsen was one of the most memorable political comics ever lived. He appeared on The Smothers Brothers Comedy hour from 1967 to it demise in 1969. Look fo ir on DVD and enjoy.

  • Pat Paulson would have been better than Bush or Obama

  • @eldorado61guy Even dead for all these years, he's bound to do a better job!

  • The new left, the old left & what's left.lol. Vote for Paulson.

  • guess who i was named after

I always thought it was Hawn but alas the truth finally came out when the circumstances of my conception was revealed on my 30th birthday.
