  • poor Andy Griffith got taken in his old age...

  • Lying redneck bastards.

  • Typical Tea Party nonsense-they can only win an argument by lying through their teeth-they're truly pathetic.

  • The audio commentary DOES NOT pertain to your idiotic view.

    TRY AGAIN dumb ass. LOL

  • Lies, frauds, fake videos . . . it's the Tea Party way!

  • This is so FAKE!!!!! I remember seeing Mr Griffith make that interview that is heard here 10 or 15 years ago talking about the standards he would work by in developing his writting for shows and plays. Also, if you listen to his voice in the original commercial, you can tell it has become slurred and not as defined as the voice over used here. Shame on you for missrepresenting an American icon like Mr Griffith for your political greed. You owe Mr Griffith an and all viewers of this an apology.

  • poor poor old man! remember how handsome and virile and straight as an arrow he was. disease takes it all away and you just can't get it back! so don't eat any of those 'opees' frogs, crabs, lobstuh. crawdads and similar southern delicasies. thats what done in ant bee too.

  • What is this crap? Medicare is not Obamacare, and the comments played over the video were not commens Andy Griffith made about either Medicare or Obamacare.

  • this is beyond the pale...how could you put this forth....nothing but a scammer and a hack

  • This is what the liberals think of old people. Wait until they get senile and then use them to act us unknowing dupes for their cause. They've done it to Clint Eastwood now, too.

  • @jonnygouda1 I heard conservatives are perfect angels and will go to heaven to be with Jesus and their family while they look down on sinners burning in hell. Damn fetus-eating liberal bastards.

  • Okay... How about this? If the Health Care system was installed within the first few years that the Democrats wanted it (and mind you, this was around 50+ years ago)... Not only would this be as standard as police, school, and fire. Plus, added to that, nobody would complain because they are used to it, versus the fact that their tax money was used on court cases, etc. tied to this. Plus, we have S. Korea and Japan making it the norm, while maintaining an overall fair tax percentage. 'Nuff said.

  • @NinjaPoeBear Federal government control of education has been a failure. Every presidential candidate promising to "fix" education, and it never gets fixed. God help us, if they do the same thing to education.

  • @yaimavol I am going to politely set you straight. The governments control of education is only been a failure for We the People. Its worked just as planned for the government and the corporations. Please read the Preamble of the National Constitution as well as your States. Then be a People, not a citizen who is subject to their jurisdiction. The government is subject to us so start living it and God will help us.

  • @walkertonkidd 100% real talk, dawg. Glad some ya'll crackas is waking up. We knowed Obama was a shuckin' jive-ass hustla from day one, but damn dawg, how could we vote up on McCain? He just an older, paler form of Obamanust!

  • @yaimavol RON PAUL do not wish to fick it, he wish to END IT!

  • @NinjaPoeBear You were born too late! You'd have made a great subject of Der Fuhrer in Germany, 1938. Sieg heil!

  • @briancopeland77 nigga u gay.

  • @briancopeland77

you will burn in hell just a minute before he does

  • NIce lie.

  • Obamacare might have been swallowable if he and the congressional leadership hadn't let lobbyist lawyers for the healthcare industry write the goddamn bill, containing(surprise!)absolutely no incentives for cutting costs already too damned high!ANYBODY BUT OBAMA 2012

  • @jshalom65 So why oppose Obama when it is all but him who made it turn out to be as hard to control as it became? Obama asked that both parties work on this, and only one half did so... As they spent around 50+ years getting it to be the norm. The other half chose to spread lies while claiming that they could do better. But did they? No. Because if you listen to the GOP now, only Ron Paul knew it was needed... And the rest pretty much ignored those who needed the help. Coincidence?

  • @NinjaPoeBear Thanks for replying kindly despite the angry tone of my comment(I'm only one of many who has had a super-high hospital bill in the last decade!).I"m basically an independent with righteously(I believe)progressive tendencies. To answer your question:I can't can't support in good concience Obama or the mainstream of both parties while capitol hill is swarming with lobbyists committed to their wealthy backers.Nader & Kucinich & Paul all said it was a bad bill, men of integrity

  • @jshalom65 Progressive? Margaret Sanger was the "mother of the progressive movement"..she wrote THE NEGRO PROBLEM, called blacks "Human Weeds" and started Planned Parenthood to reduce the growing black population. Obama is merely a black face the progressives found to cover up their racist genocide. No one would believe a black man would support the killing of 15 million innocent black babies, would they? Obama voters were bamboozled to the Nth Degree, butt-fXk'd by the DNC!

  • @MountainMonkSage You just made an inference about progressivism and an unknowledgeable judgement on me.What I meant(which you might have been able to deduce if you fully read and understood my comments) is that I am a constitutionalist and libertarian on social issues(I like Ron Paul and have been an Alex Jones listener for 15 years) but I don't want to throw baby out with the bath water by gutting all THE PROGESSIVE movements of the last 150 years(abolition, labor, civil & womens rights etc.)

  • @NinjaPoeBear Do you WORK for MSNBC or are you just that gat damn stupid?

  • Clever...taking commmentary from an "Andy Griffith Show" DVD and playing it under the Obamacare commercial. Obamacare may not be the best solution for the U.S health care crisis, but it is a heluva lot better than what we have now, which is an embarrassment.

  • Get a lif u obama bashing prjcks

  • What's the difference between rationing based on wealth and rationing based on availability of resources and need?

In the former a few rich people get caddilac care, some upper middle-class people get decent care, lots of middle to working class people get crappy care, and everone else gets bupkis.

In the latter everybody gets care. It's not caddilac care, and it ain't bupkis.

    What would Jesus do?

  • @keptyeti Free healthcare is not a right. America has waaaay to many social leeches now...if Obamacare is not repealed the social deadbeats will grow in number and destroy our social fabric of hard work and self reliance.

  • "Hey, I'll show some photos of coffins, alluding to the death panels nonsense that idiots like Betsy McCoy talked about."

  • ...Where exactly did Griffith speak out AGAINST the decision to appear in the ad? Nice editing, asshole.

  • Matlock did an ad for Obama's HC plan??? When was this? o.O

  • The disclaimer should be: "Paid for by (some) crooked Republicians with editing capabilites. "

  • This is a slap in the face, if i remember correctly it was the Republicans that put in all the bullshit fat that ruined the bill, it was the republicans that where against the public option. They messed the bill up just to try and shoot it down before it gets started, anyone who complains about the bill has the GOP to blame, I think that this was the one good thing Obama could have been remembered for. God forbid a person gets sick or injured in America, An illness can bankrupt you here in USA

  • Yeah... Obamacare... I hate the idea of giving healthcare to all American citizens... doesn't he understand that Insurance companies care about us? They take good care of us... and for just a little bit of money...

  • classic

  • Before this commercial came out I had full respect for Andy. Too bad he'll be remembered for backing Obamacare.

  • How sad to know someone like Andy would support something as immoral as O'Romneycare.

  • @ickybiker Do you have any LEGIT reasons to oppose it as "immoral"? You know, based on FACT, and not dumbass rumors about shit like "death panels" and other crap? I'm not sure how ensuring BETTER access to healthcare for those who are denied it or can't afford it is "immoral." Mind explaining THAT ONE to me?

  • @whoo689 ..I'll answer your question by posing another: Do you have a LEGIT justification for taking property owned by one individual at gunpoint and turning it over to another?

  • @ickybiker It's MUCH BETTER for the insurance companies to fuck us over with ever-higher premiums, shitty benefits and denials of claims, as well as not giving coverage to those with preexisting conditions. How IRONIC that the people who WOULD MOST NEED INSURANCE had such a hard time GETTING IT before "Obamacare"! What kind of fucked-up system was THAT!

  • @whoo689 ....Maybe if you understood a little more about how the system works you would realize how ridiculous and immature you sound.

Insurance companies are not your friend, agreed. The thing you need to understand, is why an industry, any industry.....which depends on people buying it's product would treat it's customers so badly? The answer is because of the high cost of medical care.

  • @iwhoo689:so why the high cost of medical care? Government mandated programs like welfare, medicare, medicaid cause a huge volume of patients. Anytime something is "free", you never have to worry about customers. The more demand makes a choke point for hospitals and health care providers, and higher costs is the only way to stem the flow. Those with government health care get off easy, and everyone else gets hosed by either the hospital, health care provider, or insurance companies.

  • @woo689: Now what happens with "single payer"? WOO HOO!!! everybody gets it for free!!! Now the only one left to rob is the doctors and hospitals. You've already robbed every productive citizen in America to pay for everyone else's healthcare, now the hospitals and clinics fill to over brimming with people going to the doctor for every hangnail and cold sore imaginable. Who pays? First, the doctor, who now has an unimaginable work load

  • @woo689: Next payer will be the person needing care who now must wait in a long line of waiters, who will wait for "care" based on the priority their particular ailment is given. That's how battlefield triage is done, to maximize the effectiveness of the medical corps when overwhelmed with casualties. This is also how the medical profession will deal with "single payer" health care. It's called "rationing", for all you liberals with limited vocabulary.

  • @woo689: So it the follows, that the "death panels" you speak of WILL exist, in the form of "medical panels" which will serve as "battle field triage" teams who will determine whether some "lifesaving" procedure can be preformed on YOU or not, based on the "collective need" for health care at the time of your particular episode.

  • @woo689: That's all you get for free pal. If you are more than just a bloviating liberal meatbag and can actually think for yourself, I suggest going back in history and seeing how people received healthcare in the late 19th century and early 20th, before there was any tax funded "health care", which by the way was the healthiest most prosperous time in America. A time when folks took care of their own, because they didn't have a government hand in their pocket.

  • @woo689: Then, when you've done all that, ask yourself this question: If cancer was virtually non-existent before 1930 (very rare) the same with diabetes, AIDS, etc....and the stated goal of the medical profession is to cure disease or as the Hippocratic Oath specifies "...at least, do no harm", then why has America become one of the most UNHEALTHY nations on planet earth, with new disease coming out every year?

Yes, I have a LEGIT reason to oppose it as immoral.

  • @ickybiker I thought that bloviating was something meat bags like Limbaugh did. I did a little research, and it turns out I was right: The gulf between serious conservative thinkers, including Brooks, and those who are simply bloviating, such as Limbaugh, is huge.

GOP and Palinpaloozza by Staff / Las Vegas Sun

Three days later, he's bloviating like Michael Savage, and Maureen Dowd doesn't seem so silly anymore.

  • The best of the Washington Monthly by Washington Monthly

Unofficial Republican Party head Rush Limbaugh is Exhibit A, nothing more than a bloviating bully.

LETTERS IN THE EDITOR'S MAILBAG by The Register-Guard (Eugene, OR)

  • @mattlove1 you're right. Limbaugh is a Joke. So is Savage, O'Bully, Hanity and the rest. Notice how they display their undying love for Israel, but crap all over American Patriots?

Where's their love for Americans? At the airports?

  • @ickybiker Go look at life expectancy tables from the late 19th century. And infant mortality rates??. You are talking out your ass. Life expectancy in 1890 was 42.5 years. Infant mortality rates were staggering.

  • @ihatestupidsignups what has this to do with state run health care?

  • @ickybiker Tell me this. You have a tissue matched kidney. You can give it to an 87 year old Alzheimer's patient or a 22 year old college student. How do YOU decide who gets it? That's not your "collective" buzzword, that's just sense. Does the donor liver liver go to the High school student or the 58 year old chronic alcoholic who drank their liver to death. Of course I'm sure to you the person who gets to live is the highest bidder.

  • @ihatestupidsignups Simple. It should go to whoever the donor wants to give it to.

  • @ickybiker And the elderly and disabled can go die in the alleys like they did in your good old 19th century.

  • @ihatestupidsignups Please give examples.

  • @ihatestupidsignups Don't worry, you'll get there one day and you can just carry out your wishes then.

  • You, dear poster, are a complete idiot.

  • Opie the Birdman ... yeah, all those great, great shows. How miss them. They canceled Hee-Haw and now the closest thing to programming I can stomach is two queers getting horny on each other on Dancing with the Stars. Good thing I'm almost blind.

  • andy griffith sure enjoyed your acting and comedy you did, i saw you at la mirada ca. park three years ago . your one of my favorites of my dad to
