  • Nice! /waves!

  • You have a really beautiful japanese accent :D

  • Dude, do they make those bikes for men?

  • Your tour was fantastic, you should be a TV show host! What exactly do your host parents do for a living? 'Cuz your house is HUGE considering it's Japanese!

  • Yay, Gator fan!

  • I heard moving to japan is extremely hard how did you do it

  • Omg dude I am so freaking jealous. That house looks so godly.

  • 5:58

    THATS WHAT SHE SAID

  • I wanna go to Japan too. T ^ T

  • What are you studying? Sorry if my english is crappy!:P

  • Love the place!!! :D

  • I'M SO FREAKIN JEALOUS !!!

  • I LOVE YOUR ROOM!!! (sorry for my english)

  • Damn nice! How did you get enough moulah to afford a HOUSE?

  • Ha! I have that same Oxford dictionary AND Kanji dictionary xD har har. would you ever consider living over in japan, coming from an american standpoint?

  • @notnownotsoon

Haha they're good ones, right? Truthfully, I have already considered working and living in Japan either during or after college-- I just got started in the university system though, so hopefully not much longer until I get to study abroad again.

  • how long did it take you to reall learn japanese, and be able to just have a normale converstation with other people? (talking in japanese that is)

  • @TonyVachterberg

Well i took Japanese for a year before I actually went to Japan, but I would say I learned most of what I know while I was over there. Immersion actually does work-- it took me about two months to have a good conversation in broken Japanese, and then a few more to get more fluent. I've been practicing, and now I speak with all of my Japanese friends on Skype with no problem :)

  • @thechansans just awesome! :D

I really have no way of learning japanese other than by myself wich is at most points really hard, cause it's hard to keep focused... the language is just so difficult..

I live in holland, breda and i don't really have a school for japanese of anything likewise, wich is disappointing :(

  • love the house

  • AWW YEAH!!!! Florida Gators!!!!

  • awesome video. have fun in japan! i really like japanese housing i think the separate toilet room is nicer than shared in the bathroom. less smelly haha

  • nice. have fun living there

  • @dudeitsdylan

Yes sir! Born in Gainesville here, and now living in Tampa. Go Gators!

  • @RandomShizz14

Thanks! I took about a year and a half of Japanese before I went, and I learned most of what I know during my time in Okayama. I was really bad when I first got there though-- I still can't believe I pronounced "tour" wrong in this video lol.

  • @b1bobson

Yes, my host family was a bit on the higher end of the social spectrum, and it is best to note that this shouldn't be interpreted as an accurate representation of the way most Japanese homes are laid out. However, that doesn't mean that they were any more like Americans! On the contrary, my host mother and father still do many things the traditional way and were more than willing to make it a great experience for me while I was there. Great point though, thanks for bringing it up man!

  • How much is the rent/month?

  • OMG THE SINK IS ON THE TOILET :OOOOOOO

  • GASP. Just like in anime :DDDD

  • Did that shirt say Florida Gators at 4:41? Are you from Florida? If so what part? Sorry for the questions, I'm just surprised since I live in Gainesville, home of the Gators. Woot! Woot!

  • We have washing machines with dryer but it seems like people still love to hang clothes outside under the sun. And it is a nice house!

  • @thechansans when nd how long ago did you start speaking japanese? was it hard?

  • Just so that future viewers aren't being set up for a let-down if they go to live with a host-family in Japan, this house is very new and it is massive compared to typical homes there. The host-father must be a wealthy business owner to afford such a spacious house. Most entire apartments in the cities are the size of the room they gave to this kid to stay in. Many host-families need the rent money, this one is being very generous and kind to take in a foreigner. You were very fortunate.

  • now, that is badass D:

  • =.= American toilet, but the house is nice and big.

  • Are you Staying there as a Transfere or do you apply to do it,, Cause i dont really get it!! And HOW DID YOU LEARN JAPANESE ,,I mean you talk like a Pro! I can only say a few words Lol! Nice place by the Way!

  • Nice place! I especially like your kitchen ;)

  • Nice, your Japanese sounds pretty crisp!

  • where did you find the this place on? i am going to japan for work and school and looking for a place to live...any suggestions?

  • By all the videos ive seen this is far the best one. please reply to me how much does a house like that cost?

  • @123megatron1

I'm not sure how much it costs for sure, but I can tell you that it's very expensive-- my host father owns his own roofing company, so this house is a bit larger than most, especially since it is in a more rural part of Japan.

  • @thechansans whats the name of the program and did you have to qualify?

  • that's so funny, a bird just walking around the house like people! And Robbie greets her like she's going to respond back ^_^

  • I luv this video , The house is beautiful^ - ^

  • He likes like a doll!

  • It looks beautiful place!!!

  • Wow cute

  • I really like this video! You house is so big and awsome! How comes your living in Japan, and who are these sweat people to you? your japanese is really good too! :D I wish to come and stay at Japn, it seems beautiful :) x

  • Don't smoke the footrest thing, Robbie, lol...

Great video! Funny about not having a clothes dryer, my mom (who is Korean) used to hang our clothes and all of our laundry all the time! Lol...Good stuff! Now go take some Ninjitsu lessons, ;)

  • Robbie! What an awesome video!!!! I still want to see where Sora sleeps though, and I want to see Sora!! We'll try to get some videos up for you :) hope you're having an awesome time! Love you!
