I was given a 71 vega. (I would NEVER have bought one!)

My wife & I used to call it the "sewing machine" or "the rattle trap". It used a quart of oil every few days, the seats springs collapsed, the hood latch broke, the door handles fell off, the seat stitching ripped, the window cranks snapped off in our hands, the floor rusted through, the headliner fell into the car, the paint job turned to dust, we had to lift the doors to close them and the front left wheel fell off on the highway.
