The first time I saw Ruby Wax she was doing a tongue-in-cheek tour of the Soviet Union, bringing the Russians the blessings of stand-up. And in one scene, she line-jumped a huge queue of people waiting to buy pizza from a vendor in Red Square. When she finally managed to get to him, she asked what he put on his pizzas. And the poor guy's hodge-podge list of toppings even included eggs! Ruby gave him one of her most riveting looks and said, "Honey, you don't put eggs on pizza!"

I was hooked!
