  • Delicious tea...thanks again Alia.

    I loved the bloopers too...:-p

  • I want a tea holder like the ones your grandmother made! She should create an Etsy account to sell them. Thanks for the tea tip!

  • Behind the scenes was really funny!

Imagine the tea you sipped was hot! Now, that would make great "behind the scenes" segment.

I have bought Saffron tea before, however, I doubt anything tastes as good as the actual real saffron infused right in front of you.

It looks delicious and I will try it

  • Hello Alia, I have had the mint tea before but I haven't tried it with the Saffron. Sounds tasty. I love the ending :D Have a great day, KtC

  • love this video.. =))

  • beautiful teapot! and the behind the scenes was awesome!

  • Ahhhhhhhhh so cuteeeeeee! I have similar Moroccan glasses with arabic words on them (no idea what is says though). But I don't have a Moroccan tea pot though! Cute teapot handles that your granny made!

  • MashaAllah I love the little tea pot handle people! Can you buy them in that design in Morocco?

  • I love the bloopers. Too funny!

  • you are so cute :) interesting way of drinking tea

  • wow i'm moroccan and have never heard of this tea! i will make it tomorrow and get back to you!

  • very nice presentaton. I think the tea drinking experience can't be complete without the kind of tea glasses (tea cups) you used. I think it sets the tone that it's tea time. May I ask , what are the tea glasses called? & where can i find them?

thanks for sharing, im going to try it. it's seems very familiar to Pakistani kashmiri kawa (everythings the same except saffron)

  • What is the difference between mixing with a spoon and pouring in a cup some times? Also, do you know if its possible to make a caffeine free version of this? I've been looking for caffeine free green tea, i don't know if it exists.

  • the little handle cozies are sweet!i hope your grandma is doing fine back in the middle east (loved her in the kitchen with you!)and i love you sharing the way tea is brewed.so many different ways to do things, each with their own flavor!I will try the way you made the green tea next time, as it sounds like it removes some tannins?thank you for the video!

  • i am morocain

and it's very crusial to pull the teapot when poring the thea so the tea will cool down

  • I'm soo going to make tea now!!!!

  • LOL loved the bloopers at the end =)

  • I'm Moroccan and I've never heard of Saffron Tea

  • Can you also use safron-powder?

  • @Hananita88

    no it wont work :-(

it has to be pure saffron

  • I love tea!

  • En occidant le Safron coute "Les yeux de la tete" Alia....Many thanks anyway.

  • just curious, any particular reason your don't just stir the tea with a spoon? I know you said they don't do it in morocco but I'm just wondering if there is a real reason why or if its just some custom of some kind. you have a lot more patience than me, I would have used the spoon o.O

  • @faylinameir I think the reason why we don't use a spoon to stir the tea is to keep it as hot as possible. When stirring with a spoon we have to open up the pot + the spoon is made from metal so it will absorb a lot of heat out of the tea. I hope it makes sense =)

  • @faylinameir some do this in egypt too, but we don't add the sugar in the begining like she did, we add the sugar last thing and we use her way to stir the sugar and the more time you empty the cup in the pot the more sugary taste you get. moreover, that way the tea wouldn't be too hoot to drink

  • Excellent, Alia!

Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. I just bought a little thing of saffron too and was wondering other uses for it, so this will work perfectly.

Thanks too for showing all of the steps that goes into brewing a perfect pot of Moroccan tea. I've always wondered why it was just never the same when I made it vs. the times I had had it at the restaurants.

  • Loved the bloopers! And the pot holders are soooooo cute! Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes! :)

  • Thank you very fantastic

  • LOL...Love the outtakes! Thank you for that. And the tea sounds really good! You're

cute...you should always include the outtakes, IMO. ; ]

  • Interesting!
